...and you know what that means for most folks. THE WEEKEND and freedom from work and bosses and co-workers and the pressures of life on the job.

Of course I am working this weekend and I am the boss so....what does that mean??? Souther Fried Chicken for dinner tonight. YUM! Yum!

Lots of storms this past week every afternoon. They cool things off from the heat in the day. We are blessed to have them as we do need the rain.

Hope you had a great week. Mine was intense but very productive and quite nice actually.

Hello friends. It is early on Sunday morning. It is very foggy out and I had to switch on my headlights to drive down to the store to buy my paper this moring. It was quiet out and very still and I love this time of day when almost no one is out and I have the roads to myself.

I went with friends to a concert in Boone last night. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. They have been together for 40 years this year and the last time they played in Boone was 1976. I like their music and their series of CD's called Will the Circle Be Unbroken.

The sound system was awful. It was just not mixed right and was horrible. It sounded like they didn't even know who each otehr were or something. Not pleasant.

So busy day today.

We are having a series of beautiful summer days. It has been a bit hot for the mountains but still is so nice and cool at night. My windows are all opne and the sliding galss doors. No air conditioning. I do have ceiling fans in all the rooms and I like to joke that that is my central air! LOL!

Great weather for cooking out and eating fresh produce out of the garden and grilling chicken, steaks, pork and fish!

The bats come out at night and devour all the mosquitos and other bugs they like so much. It is fun to watch them fly around.

The red-winged blackbirds and the swallows dive bomb me as I walk in the fields and swoop across the pond to drink water while they fly. It is so cool to watch them.

I go down and feed my fish in the pond every day and they are really growing and very hungry. I love to watch them swimming under the surface of the water and then grabbing the little pellets of fish food from the surface of the water. The brim are so fast and speedy and the catfish are huge and slow moving with huge mouths and those strange whiskers on the top of their heads.

The snapping turtles will float up and you can see their air bubbles and their huge heads. They are so scared of any humans and duck under if you move or they catch sight of you.

I was wading in our creek the other day and it was so much fun. Nice and cool. Little minnows and crayfish everywhere and even a few nice sized trout swimming in the black pools along the banks of the creek.

Nice life HUH!

I have not been very good about writing in my BLOG lately and for that I am sorry. I have been so busy at work and in my life.

Still no sex life to speak of unless you want to speak of jacking off as a sex life! LOL! My fantasy life is very active and I have no problems getting hard and jerking off thinking about all the guys I would like to have a relationship with! So I quess that is a good thing.

We had a big rainstorm this morning but it only lasted about 15 minutes. We could really use a nice steady rain for a few hours. Our area is quite dry if you dig down in the soil.

My garden is doing well and I am eating lots of squash, cucumbers and green beans and waiting patiently for my tomatoes!!!! I am on a red pepper fetish right now and trying to try every receipe for roasted red peppers I can find. I just love the taste of them.

My fish are very active and when I go down to the pond in the afternoon they all come to the surface and beg for food. Not really but it seems that way.

We are so dry and everywhere around us has gotten rain. We had a light rain yesterday for about 5 minutes but it didn't even wet the ground.

Oh well we can't control Mother Nature can we????

I am working this weekend and am planning on doing some work in my garden and eating some of my squash and green beans. The tomatoes are filling out and should be getting red very soon!! Yum! Yum! Nothing like a fresh tomatoe from the garden. I have a big steak to grill out tonight with this relaly hot hot Morracan roasted red pepper thing I made. Oh wow it is so hot but really good with the steak.

I baked all day yesterday for a local church even and it was fun. I put on some loud rock and roll and stripped to my boxers and boggied down while I baked and baked and baked and baked. It was fun.

Hey hello. How was your weekend? Mine was awesome. Gorgeous weather here in the mountains even though we really need some rain which they say may be on the way from the tropical storm and cold front mixing it up over our area in the next few days!

I ate out at a restaurant in Asheville on Saturday and the cutest waiter named Drew waited on our table. He was so awesome but of course had no idea I was gay. I think he was but well.....not sure.

My tomatoes are ripe and so wonderful. BLT for lunch today. AWESOME!!!! Nothing like it in the world.

Laid slices of fresh tomatoes and fresh buffalo mozzarello cheese on a plate and then cracked black pepper on top and crumbled up goats cheese and added some chopped fresh basil and drizzled olive on on the whole thing.

WOW!

It was so wonderful to just be off and enjoy myself. Not that I don't enjoy myself every day but hopefully you know what I mean.

That is the question here in the mountains. Will the remnanats from the hurricane hit our area and bring much needed rain or will it miss us and pass us by. We are so dry here and need the rain.

So that is on our minds. What is on yours?

Rain is filling the streams and overflowing the pond. The fish are happy and all the scum is gone from the surface of the water. The fields are soaked and perhaps the second cutting of hay will now get a boost.

I had to go and pick all my tomatoes or else they would burst but they are sooooo good. Nothing like a fresh tomato with cracked pepper and maybe a little touch of mayo.

It is Friday and I am working. Lots to do this weekend.

What an incredible gorgeous day. WOW. Perfect in almost every way. It started out cloudy and looked like a chance of rain perhaps and then by mid morning the sun came out and the breeze started and it was just so nice all day.

I spent the day walking the field line to check the pasture fence and feeding my fish in the pond and walking in the stream and just enjoying the beautiful day.

So now it is getting towards evening and i need to think about dinner which will include fresh tomatoes as I must use them up before they start to rot and go bad. They are only fresh for such a short time and they are oh so good. Nothing like it. I know I have said it before but it is true.

I think I got a disc of the TV show 24 in the mail today so I guess I will watch an episode or two tonight and read some in my Martha Grimes Inspector Jury book I am reading. Then a wank and sleep and dream land. Wish I could remeber my dreams and that I could dream about my dream men but also I have to dream about them while I am awake!

Sunday was gorgeous around here. How was it in your neck of the woods so to speak?

I had my morning 4 shot latte and then church and the sermon was really awesome today. Lots to ponder and think about for the whole week ahead which is what I like. I know it is not all about me but that is what I really like. To have something to chew on (and not dick guys) (mental meat so to speak) all week long.

Read the sunday paper and the comics which I always enjoy. I have since I was a wee boy and I think I will continue the habit until I am in the grave. They just intrigue me so much. Wish I had been a cartoonist but I can't draw worth a hoot.

Then the day was sunny and breezy and wonderful. My fish were hungry this afternoon and some of my catfish are like 14-18 inches long. I swear its true. They are huge and so hungry with those big suckery mouths grabbing the fish pellets I throw to them. The little ones are swimming around and just grabbing food and they laze along and lift their heads and suck it down.

So a spot of dinner and then I will probably watch a movie and read in my book and then a wank and bedtime!

Tomorrow is a holiday for most folks and I am going to the big city to do some shopping for shirts and pants and other stuff.

Oh yes bring it on. Blessed rain let it come. Nice and gentle as it falls from the skies onto the earth filling up the streams and sinking deep down into the earth to replenish the depleted water table in our area.

I am driving to the big city of Hickory NC today to do some shopping and just taking the day off to mess around.

Well it is more rain today but we do need it and this place is gorgeous even in the rain althought things will get a little moldy if we don't get some sun!

This area used to be classsified as a temperate rain forest but the last few years has been drier than normal.

We are digging up an old drain line that has collapsed under the gorund for who knows how long. This lead to leaks in the basement and it has been a mess. So did we are and trying to replace old pipe with new stronger plastic pipe.

The mud can really suck your shoes down but it is sort of fun in a preverse way and the guy dowing the digging is quite cute and in very good shape!!! LOL!

Got to get back to my watching and leering.

Have you ever looked on the site www.portraitfolio.com OMG is all I can say. What photos!! What incredible bodies! OMG! OMG! OMG! How can a young man have a body like some of those in this site? If you like Apollo's Belts like I like Apollo's belts then this is the site for you. Damn and hot damn and super damn.

These guys could have been models for my story about Timmy and Tom. They are all of his friends.

I have a busy weekend planned for me so I had better get started. Lots to do.

So what are you going to do today??? I am already up and out and have my freshly made latte and ready to work.

It is really foggy here this morning which usually means a beautiful day.

I spent a good part of yesterday going through old files at work and tossing the junk. Of course what I consider junk someone else might consider valuable. That is the trouble. Who knows and if I throw it away then the furture folks won't have it but if they don't know they ever had it will they ever miss it?

I will be baking this afternoon for some church functions that need to rasie money. I will also probably work in my garden pulling the last tomatoes and trying to clean up old vines etc.

It has been so nice and cool at nights this past week. In the 40's which I love.

Whgen I was in the shower this AM I smellled a skunk and prayed that my dog had not found the skunk but lucky for me he hadn't nothing worse than a dog and a skunk. Must have just been walking by and sprayed around my house.

It is Sunday here in the mountains of Western NC and it is quite foggy this morning. Like soup actually but it should clear off in a few hours and then I think we are going to have a terrific day.

Saw 3 young bucks today when I went to the store to get my paper. 3 pointers so they are 3 years old. Traveling together through the fog. Bow season opened yesterday so I hope they can survie or whoever takes their life actually eats them and uses their bodies and not just takes their heads as trophies to hang on a wall somewhere. I hate that. I am not a hunter. never have been never will I think. I don't mind if someone eats what they shoot but the others who just do it for "sport" I can't really tolerate.

I will be off to church in a little while and I hope that the sermon is a good one this morning.

Lots then to do for the afternoon. I have work and then a meeting in town and then back out to go to another function and then finally home sweet home with my dog, my books, the sunday paper and maybe a bit of a wank!

OK guys it is a rainy day today and I have a huge meeting. Like really big. Like really huge! Wish me luck. My report is ready and it is quite good if I must say so myself but one can never tell how it will or will not be received once the room is full and everyone is sitting there staring at you. You wonder is my fly open? Do they get it? What is up?

So that is what I will be doing in a few short hours.

The cows are on the hill eating grass and looking quite contented. The deer are restless and roaming around. The birds are starting to migrate and come in flocks to eat in the garden and in the pasture. The fish are swimming around waiting for me to thrwo them some food!

Life is good.

Oh yes bring it on. More rain. Here we go almost 6-8 weeks with almost no rain at all and then wow we are getting rain every day. I am not complaining as some people do because we really need the rain as it has been so dry.

I think I saw an Eagle yesterday or it was a huge hawk but I do think it was an eagle. I have never seen one outsdie a photo or a zoo or wildlife park. It was incredible and it seemed to be playing with some turkey vultures which also seems weird but......

I had a great day yesterday and my presentation went very well so that is good. Of course they broguht up stuff I didn't think they would bring up but one can never be totally prepared for a board of directors. What a weird beast boards are!!

It is Friday here in the mountains and I assume it is Friday where you are but of course since I don't know where you actually live it could be another day. Ha! ha!

I am off this weekend so I am not sure what I will do. I know I will read in my book, make some chutney, watch a movie or two or 3, go hiking, take some photos.

And of course. Big drum roll please. Sit in my favorite chair and have a wank or 2 or 4 or 5.

I think I may have seen a coyote this AM but I am not sure if that was what it was.

What a GREAT weekend I had. What a glorious weekend it was weather wise.

I saw 4 films and enjoyed them all. They were all great. I finished a book and started a new one. The Bookseller of Kabul which is fascinating.

I made chutney. I worked in my garden. I napped. I jerked off!!!! I walked and I went to church.

Damn what a nice weekend. Hope yours was good.

Now it is back to work.
