Well here it is Thursday already and I finally have some time to look at JUB and porn!

Such a great week this has been I have been outside for most of it.

It was just about freezing last night but so far it looks like the flowers made it through all right. Supposed to be cold again tonight so lets hope they make it through again.

But today is supposed to be in the 50's so I am excited about that. I am going to do some work outside today. Prunning and shit like that. Play with some mulch perhaps.

Well another night of frost but the flowers seem to have survived and for that I am grateful! We shall see about the peaches and lillacs.

Today is Palm Sunday which begins Holy Week and the week leading up to Easter.

We got our plam leaves today and instead of paying attention to the sermon I twisted mine into the shape of a cross which I do every year and have done for the past 20 years or so. I then write the year on it and dry it and save it with all the others from each year.

This weekend weather wise has been just awesome. So gorgeous but well I am apprehensive about the weather predicted for tomorrow and the next 3 days. Temps in the 20's and snow. All the tulips will be frozen. All the delicate lilac buds will be frozen. The daffodils have been beautiful but they will turn to mush along with the hyancinths. Such a shame. But what can you do except accept what is nature. Every year is different.

I have been a bit nostalgic this weekend thinking about by best friend growing up Gordy and how much I loved him. he was my idol, my god my everything but he had no idea of what he meant to me his fat un athletic friend. Why was he my friend? But I was so scared and afraid of crossing that line of young adolescent male friendship. I wanted so much to be more for him but I just couldn't. No one told me but I knew it deep down inside.

At that time we didn't banter about the word queer, homo and gay like they do today in high school but we all knew men didn't love other men. How did we know that? It was unspoken. The love that dares not speak its name.

But my love was real and my pain was real and even today so many years later I can bring up that pain with no problem and feel it just as if it was yesterday and I am 60 years old and that was when I was 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.

But at least I do have the memories of us clowning around and his friendship. He was without a doubt the most popular boy in our entire school. Not just in our class but the whole school. Everyone adored him.

Today is Good Friday which in our Christian tradition is a very important date for us as it is the day of Chirst dying.

What a horrible way to die. The Romans were good at creating horrible ways to kill a man or woman. I guess many cultures have that dubious honor but the Romans excelled at it and perfected it.

Crucifixtion from what I have read is just horrible and terrible and just plain awful. Apparently you really die from suffocation as you can't rasie your lungs to get a breath after you have been hanging for awhile and if it is true that they nailed Christ then it is even worse because as you pressed down on the nails the pain must have been terrible.

Apparently you would lose control of your bowels and shit yourself and the dogs would come and lick your feet and then maybe even bite your feet.

Now when I was in India I heard another twist on this story. I don't want to cause a ruckus in my The Bible is Literal friends but this is just a theory that has some merit if you look at history.

So here it goes. The sponge that they put to Christ's mouth at the end was supposedly dipped in some liquid that may have contained a powerful drug that would have put Chirst into a coma so that the Roman guards would have thought he as dead. It apprently slowed his body down so much that everything would stop but he would still be alive.

Then he was taken down and hurried off to the tomb and then in the dead of night he was spirited out of the tomb and out of the city and on his way to India where he lived for many years and died as a holy man there.

Apparently the Disciple Thomas followded him to India where he died as well.

So it is just a theory but it is interesting.

We have been having such amazing weather this past week.

I have been outside most days, digging and planting and loving the rich smell of newly turned earth as I have planted bushes and plants and worked on my garden

We still can't plant around here untill about May 15th due to late frosts but we can be reday for that date to come.

What a beauitful day it is. Springtime and a light rain. Church was Ok I guess.

Another rainy day but come the hot dry months of June, July and August we will be crying for rain.

The day is almost over as far as my work goes and I got a lot done I think so that is always good.

We are still in drought conditions though and apparently 2.5 years behind on normal rainfall so we need to make up for lost time the only thing being is that is to much rain to make up.

Can't get into the garden as it is just to wet to do anything.

Sorry I am such a slacker lately but it just seems the days slip on by and there is no time for keeping up with my blog. Life and work just seem to get in the way of my other JUB life.

The weather here has been rainy but the last 2 nights we have had a frost. I have all my plants ready to plant but was waiting for these frosts to pass.

So maybe this weekend I will get around to it. This week has been awesome in the days. Warm and in the 70's.

Work has been busy but a good busy if you know what i mean.

Happy Memorial Day to all those celebrating today.

I got my garden such as it is planted yesterday.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, beans, yellow crookneck squash and zuchinni.

Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

It was so much fun digging in the rich muddy dirt. I was covered with dirt. I loved it. Felt so good.

To all I am so sorry I have not been here and in touch the past few months. I have been really realy relaly really busy at work.

Exceptionally so this summer it seems and I have just had no time for anything except for work and my jerk off sessions at night.

What a busy summer it has been for me and I hope for you as well.

It has been full and it has been stressful at times but a good stress in that I have a job I like in a place I adore with people I like in an economy that is shit.

The weather has been weird weird this summer and the gardnes around here are mostly all shit this year. Blight has hit tomatoes and the squash had lots of blossoms but not much fruit. My green peppers did OK but they are about the only thing.

I get a vacation in 2 weeks and I am stoked about that. Yippee!

I saw Harry Potter and liked it. Not the best of the series butr it was OK.
