A cold front is moving through our valley. Supposed to be a nice week for the remainder.

We are probably going to start making hay this week and you know what thay means. Red neck hottie time when they pick up the bales of hay!!!! Wow! Wow! Wow! Our first cutting was not a good hottie time for me so lets hope this time is better.

We did strip all the leaves off our cane patch yesterday as they were saying we might get a slight frost this week and frost will turn cane sour which will in turn ruin the molasses. We hope to start on that next week. It takes 50-60 gallons of green slimy juice to make about 10 gallons of pure brown sweet molasses. Amazing process.

So today is another busy day for me. Hope yours is a good one as well.

It was cold last night here in our mountain valley. I am not sure if we had any frost and I am still wearing my shorts but it is still freaking cold this AM. Mine are to work this weekend.

The weather today has mostly been cloudy but it has warmed up and we had a few very short sprinkles. We are raking the hay today to dry and get it dry so we can bale it tomorrow if the weather holds OK. We shall see what happens.

I drove into town ealry this AM to get a haircut. I hate to wait for my haircut so i got there a few minutes before the shop opens. This gorgeous young blong hunk from the local college came up a few minutes after I arrived. OMG he was so freaking handsome. Beautiful eyes. Two gold earrings. Tight t-shirt that showed off a nice set of abs and good arm muscles. So already I was getting hard and leaking in my shorts! So what are you going to do with this wonderful beautiful gorgeous day!!!

I have a bunch of pruning to do and then I need to work in my garden and get it cleaned up some for the winter. I have some bushes ands trees that i need to prune as well.

I need to go down to the PO and get my mail and I am working as well so I have some letters to write and some reports to fil out.

I am finishing up The Bookseller of Kabul which is fantastic! Really amazing book about life in Afganistan. How can a whole society treat women like they do and then make men the lord and ruler of all? But apparently in some parts of the country homosexuality is perfectly accepted and older men take younger boys as their lovers and fight wars over them. They are also married and have children but so much of their life is spent in the complete company of men that it has been accepted to take male lovers. Weird. Weird. Weird.

Not sure if I told you all about George. I had to get a new washing machine and Lowes delivered it. George was one of the delivery guys. He was a hunk. Blond hair, gorgeous smile and great white teeth and blue green eyes. He went to college at the local college and did this work on the side. Oh shit he was so beautiful but......now he is just a memory as of course nothing happened.

Today is Sunday and it started out so sunny and warm and blue skies and white fluffy clouds and now it is gray and overcast and they are saying it may rain for the remainder of the day. Stands to reason as we have hay cut and on the groud.

I went to church today but it was sooooo boring this morning. The preacher was just sooooo boring. I almost fell asleep. That usually does not happen but today was an excpetion. It was not our regular preacher so that may have had something to do with it. Some priest just should retire and get on with their lives and give it up.

So I read the Sunday paper and enjoyed the comics as I usually do each and every Sunday. I did lose $.50 in the stupid paper machine. I hate it when that happens.

So I will probably take a nap this after noon and have a wank and then watch a film and read my book and enjoy the day inside.

Not a whole lot going on. Been working in the cane patch topping the stalks all morning and hoping the sun will stay out and dry out our hay. As it is the crop is going to be so small. Just like my cock!!! LOL!

I am not catching up on some paperwork and writing letters and making phone calls as I was out of the office all day yesterday.

I think but dare I speak or say or write the words that we may be making some of our hay this afternoon so I may get a red neck hunk report for you by tomorrow. Today the weather has been perfect September fall weather. The leaves have not changed yet but one can see some color as one glances around the mountains surrounding our little valley.

I watched the movie Munich last night and it has stuck with me all day. Very good movie with lots of good stuff to ponder and think about as my day has enfolded.

Friday and I have the weekend off.

Lets see what shall I do with my time?????

I want to go for a hike. I need to do some more clean up work in my garden. I am reading a book of course and I will watch a movie or two. I have some shopping to do and a few naps to take. I will go to church on Sunday and then I have to work on Sunday afternoon and evening.

The cows are out on the hill pasture today munching and eating grass.

The weather is crsip and cool this morning. Last evening we had a huge wind storm for about 20 minutes and then torential rains for about 2 hours and then it was over. Weird but beautiful. The leaves were blowing off the trees and it was so cool sitting inside my house and watching nature preform outsdie my windows. Like a reality movie or something.

Two wonderful beautiful brilliant fall days in a row and another is predicted for tomorrow and then the weather will change on Thursday.

We are making square bales of hay and my hottie report is pretty dismal. One old guy with no teeth and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Well my friends and loyal readers all the hay is baled and picked up and stored in barns near and far. I am off to church in a few moments and it is clody and gray and raining right now. It rained most of the night. Yesterday was pretty chilly. I had to put away my shorts!!!! I hate that. But they will probably come out again before to long.

Actually today is warmer than it was yesterday.

The other night was what is called the harvest moon and it was huge and bright and so white and early in the morning it had a huge ring around it. Not sure what that means. I am sure it means something but....

The trees are turning and the leaves are gorgeous and the valley is putting on a show for fall. It is simply breathtaking. Today is downright hot and I was working out on the farm all day and got very sweaty. It felt good. The only think that would have made it really perfect would be for a nice young man to come up and offer his sexual services to me! HA! Now that would be a dream come true.

Yetserday we had a mixed bag of weather. Cloudy and cool in the morning and then sunny and nice and windy in the afternoon and then some rain and then a thunder and lightening storm for a while in the night and now today a GORGEOUS fall day.

Sunny and breezy and the colors on the trees are incredible. So amazing. Wish I knew how to post a photo here but well......

Lots to do today. I am busy this month. Running around like the proverbial chicken with its head cut off......

We had a frost last night and up on the mountain it got down to 26 degrees. We weren't that cold down where I live but I had frost on my roof and on the back of my truck this morning.

It is sunny and crisp and cold and the mountains are alive with the colors of fall as mother nature prepares to sleep for the winter and gives us one last hurrah before heading underground.

I was working for most of the day but also found some time to go out in the woods and walk through the leaves. We had a hard frost last night so with the wind today many of the leaves fell off the trees and it made for a great walk. I love the sound of crunching leaves.

What a gorgeous day it was. Breezy, sunny and cool but so great. Another perfect fall day.

I actually got a lot of work done today so that was good. Always something to do whcih makes me happy. I like to be busy and to be working.

Hey guys! I hope you all had great weekends no matter what you did!

Mine was terrific. Lots of time outside, lots of work inside, movies, books, dinner with friends, great fall weather.

We have lots of leaf lookers around here during leaf season and they can drive you batty. They will just stop their cars in the middle of the road to take a photograph. It is so stupid. I must admit it is gorgeous but please pull off the road will you.

And as we call them "The Flatlanders". We all love to smell their brakes as they burn them out coming down our mountain. We locals will sniff the air and smile and nod and say Flatlanders coming down the mountain. They use their brakes instead of gearing down to a lower gear and letting your engine do the braking. Oh well they are keeping brake shops around the country in business I guess!

Lots to do this week so I had better get busy.

I was very very very busy all weekend and so was not around much. It was fun but tiring although very worthwhile. I was pretty exhausted by Saturday night.

Great weather all day on Saturday and Sunday. Perfect and beautiful fall weather and the colors are gorgeous.

Today the wind has picked up and it is very cold and they say we may get some snow tonight. There were a few minor flurries this morning but nothing much.

Supposed to be cold all week long.

Snow flurries yeasterday and windy and very cold. I was working outside for about 4 hours and my ears were freezing not to mention my nuts!!!

Today we had a very heavy frost and looks like another cold one in store for us. Hard to believe a week ago it was in the 60's!!!

Our neighbor sold 23 of his calves this week and sent them off to market so their moms are balwing and wandering around looking for thier kids and wondering what the hell happened. It is sort of pitiful but a fact of the life as a farmer. Hey I like beef so I can't complain.
