and another in our long series of perfect days without rain.

I went to town today and bought plants for my garden. Toamtoes - 4 different kinds, green peppers, canteloups, eggplants, watermelon, basil, cucumbers, zukes and yellow squash. I think that is it for my little terrraced garden out back. Enough for me to take care of.

Now I just have to plant them all tomorrow!

I did go and see Spiderman 3 last evening with my friend and then we went and had Thai food and it was pretty good. A nice cold Thai beer to go with it and lots of fun and great conversation. Wish she was a he but what the hell it is human contact and that is improtant.

You can see my review in my movie thread but suffice it to say I enjoyed the film but it was about 20 minutes to long in my book.

Today had been an average day until after lunch when I invited a friend of mine who happens to be a female to go up on the mountain with me and explore.

She hopped in my truck and off we went up and up and up the twisty turny road to the top of the mountain. Then I unlocked the gate to the road that goes to the top and shifted the truck into 4 wheel drive and up we went up the old logging road with branches slapping at the sides of the truck and bumps in the rough road.

I was in heaven but my friend was getting weirder and weider by the minute until by the time we got to the top she was completley freaked out and almost stark raving mad. She was scared of everything and kept yelling there are snakes up here. I just know there are snakes up here. She didn't even want to get out of the truck.

I was trying my best to be the sestive human being that I am but this was so funny and weird at the same time. Here she was a grown women and it was just the woods at the top of the mountain. I mean there were old logging roads and everything up there and no snakes.

Anyway she was practically crying so I got in the turck and drove back down. It was so weird. I asked her why she went in the first place and all she could say was she liked to look at nature but she didn't want to touch it and get down in it.

Now was that weird or what?

Looks like another great day. Early morning fog is burning off and the sun is out and I may get the rest of my garden planted this afternoon after church.

Looking forward to making the drive to church and sitting in the beautiful church and hearing the incredible choir and receiving the bread and wine and hopefully hearing a bang up sermon that will keep me thinking all week.

All around us yesterday were huge thunder storms. I could hear them and see them but our little valley didn't get any rain at all.

Boone was drenched but we were left high and dry.

I did finish planting my garden so that is now in the ground as I wait for the bounty to come in. Fresh tomatoes are of course my favorite.

Looks like another hot and sunny day.

2 baby birds are in a nest in my garage and they peak over the sides of their nest high in the rafters as their parents bring them food and shit on my deck!!!! They are so hungry. The parents must be exhausted.


I am going on holiday for a few days and then to a conference so I will not be around until June 13th or so. Hope you can last without me for that long!

Good morning on this beautiful Wednesday morning. Another in a great series of very dry and very warm days for this time of year in the mountains.

But I guess we can't change the weather so we had just best accept what we get.

I am off until mid June so please stand by until my return. Love you guys and thanks for reading and following my simple life here in these beautiful mountains.

I wish you could all come over to my place for a galss of wine, a beer and a meal and some laughs and great conversation and then wild passinate sex! HA! LOL!

Did you miss me? I hope so!!

I had a great time away for 2 weeks. Can you believe it? 2 freaking weeks!!!

First I went to the NC Coast for a few days with friends in a condo there. The beach was awesome and guy watching was superb although the surfers all had those wet suits on covering up their gorgeous bods. I did catch a glimpse every once in awhile. Great faces and hands and lots of great hair!

But lots of good looking guys and so many gorgeous sets of sexy legs. Damn I love to look at legs and feet and sandals.

Also many guys who look like me and would scare the crap out of a cute young stud.

But it was good.

Then I headed to Florida for a conference for a week. It was good and I learned a lot. Some good people. I was hoping for some eye candy to while away the days of sitting in lectures but there wasn't anyone who struck my fancy.

One night we did go to Coco Beach and I walked out to the end of the pier and was entranced by these two young guys who were HOT HOT HOT. So freaking hot. No shirts. taned. Long sexy taned legs with golden hairs. Low slung boarder shorts with great ass cracks and tan lines and hung so low one could almost catch a glimpse a their pubes. Great abs and Apollo's Belts.

One guy was blond and the other was brunette. One had these luscious nipples that had me so freaking hard. They were about 18 and were fishing for sharks.

The night before they caught a 9 1/2 foot one that weighed 365 pounds.

I usually never talk to young guys but I did. I asked them all about their fishing. The blonde was named Brandon and the brunette was Travis. They kept moving around and bending over getting their fishing poles right and I got lots of great views of their gorgeous ass cracks and tan lines. Holy shit I was in old man gay heaven.

Then I had to leave and go to dinner with the group. I would have much rather stayed on the pier. I wished them luck and left.

Then on Friday night we saw the shuttle go up and that was truly an awesome sight and the vapor trail stayed around for an hour afterwards leaving beautiful patterns in the sky.

There was a cute and very sexy young waiter at the place we stayed. His name was Toby and he was very cute.

So now I am back at work and trying to dig out from under all my piles of paperwork!

We have had some rain while I was gone so my garden survived. Now i have to hoe it to get rid of the weeds.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. This week I drove down to Asheville and saw Ben Harper in Concert at the Orange Peel. It was an amazing concert. Lots and lots and lots of very sexy guys who appeared very staright. I was in heaven watching them dance. It was cool but I think I am getting to old for these young peoples concerts.

Are you sleeping in this morning? I wish I could but I always seem to get up without an alarm clock at 6 AM. It just happenes. I don't seem to have any control. Sometimes it is as late as 7 AM.

So I get up and loook outside at the world beyond my window and my decking (as my English speakers say). I walk around the house naked after taking a morning piss and scratch myself where it scratches and then shower and shave and sometimes take a dump and then make my latte and head off to work.

We had light rain all night long which is of course great for our area which is way behind in its annual rainfall. I did have a photo from a friend in England where they are having flooding. I feel so badly for folks in a flood.

I was planning on working in my garden today but I may put that plan on hold as I see what the weather has in store for me today.

Hope all of you are well and able to enjoy your day off. I am working but I think I am caught up from being away and now I have to move forward on some important projects.

My shadow is still around but I have gotten used to his patterns and behavior and know how to get around him. He seems very predictable. Wish I liked him better and that he was a looker. At least that would be something.

It is Sunday for me and that means church today. I hope the sermon is a good one and gives me something to ponder all week. I feel as if I need some of that soul/brain food this morning.

After the rainy morning yesterday it turned into a very hot and very sunny day. Folks all over the valley were out in their gardens and on their lawns and in their cars just enjoying our beautiful area.

It is Monday and it is supposed to be a scorcher today even up here in the mountains where I live so I can only imagine how hot it will be down off the mountain.

It was pretty hot yesterday but there was a breeze blowing all day long which felt good.

Not much news to report today so i had better get to work!

So have you wondered where the hell i have been? Probably not. My computer has been in the shop and was supposed to be ready on Tuesday and then Wednesday and then Thursday and finally I got it back this afternoon.

I have been going stir fucking freaking out of my mind with no contact. Damn one gest so damn used to this machine and then when it is not there it is pure hell.

We are very sunny and very hot and very DRY around here. We are making hay so I guess it is good to be dry this week but we are now in the extreme drought level.

Everything is just drying up. It is so dusty.

I watched a movie the other night that perhaps was the saddest movie I have ever seen and could have been written about part of my life.

English film called

Forgive and Forget
The lead guy was so handsome and so hiding who he was and his gay side from his best mate. I think in England they have best mates more so that in the states. He had to live in a straight world with a mom who wnated grandkids and father was a homophobe and with friends who made gay jokes etc.

David had been in love with his best mate since grade school. Theo had no idea. David is dying inside with his love and his need for gay sex which he has on occasion but he really wants Theo.

He finally admits his gayness and Theo tunrs on him, his parnets turn on him and life turns on him and leaves him lying on the cold concrete floor with blood coming out of his mouth beaten and brusied and nothing to live for.

He was so sexy and so sensual and did not deserve what happened to him. I felt his pain and the actor really made me feel it and I was crying by the end and could not forget what I had seen. The movie really made an impact on me.

I am still broken up about it.

It is saturday and another hot sunny day. Hope there will be a breeze.

We are making hay and there is one hot guy on the crew but he is so redneck and so straight he is like a ruler. Oh well I can only fanatcise to a few years back when I had the hunk patrol here and we all went swimming in the creek. Now that was a memory to keep me hard for many years afterwards.

Stephen was a hunk and a half. I wonder how he is doing in college? I haven't heard from him since that time.


One of the things we don't talk about much as farmers and as haymakers is that when you are cutting hay at this time of year it is also the time of year when mother deer or does drop their babies in the tall grass. They think it is a safe place and have no idea of the danger they place their fawns in by doing this. Unfortunately when you are up on a tractor and trying to pay attnetion to your tractor, the hay, your mower machine and all that is going on you just can't see the fawns and often you/we will kill 2-3 with the blades of the mower. It is horrible but it happens and there is really not much you can do about it. The fawns natural colors blend in with the dry grass and their mommas tell them to stay still and not move and they follow orders even though it means their death.

I hate it but it happens. We all tend to Disneyize (sp) (is that a word?) nature and it is just not like that. Animals get killed.

Sorry to ruin your day with these thoughts but it was on my mind and I needed to get it off.

So it is back out into the sun in a few.

Still no rain but we put up some hay yesterday. The yield is not as much as we would have liked due to the hot dry weather but it is something and that is good. the cows need something to eat next winter.

How was your day yesterday? Hope it was a good one.

Mine was. I worked in my garden but then it just got to damn hot so I sat in the shade with a nice cold beer and just enjoyed the day. There was a nice breeze as I sat there and then I napped and then I woke and then well the day was almost over.

My we had some amazing storms yesterday afternoon that rolled through our valley dumping about 2" of much needed rain. Of course it was on some of our cut hay but at this point we need the rain more than we need the hay.

Thunder and lightening all over the place. The heavens were giving us a show. Then late last night around 10 or 11 PM it started all over again and I sat up in my bed and watched through the sliding glass doors in my bedroom as the skys lit up with fireworks and the drums were rolling.

Today is humid and sunny and more thuder showers are predicted but one never knows what will happen.

Looks like more rain this afternoon but I am not complaining. We have had rain every afternoon for the past 3 days. What a change from no rain.

Of course even as dry as we are if you go down to the store and hang around folks are talking about how much rain we have as if we didn't need it.

I say bring it on. I will sacrifice our hay for some rain at this point.

Oh my what a storm we had yesterday afternoon and evening. I think we got between 4-6 inches of rain in a 3-4 hour period.

The wind was blowing, the lightening was flashing and the thunder was booming. God's brass band of angles was playing last night.

I have a huge retaining wall on one part of the property which has had a crack over the past several years but last night it moved about 3-4 inches. Now i am trying to find a contractor.

Oh my put me to sleep. I just got back from a very booooooring church service. Guest preacher who should have stayed in bed just like I should have.

At least I got fed which is why I really go and the sermon is usually an extra added bonus but today was not to be.

More rain. We have had a week of raion everyday after a month of no rain.

My pond is overflowing.

No rain yesterday so we did get one field of hay put up in large round bales. Now the weather guys and gals are saying no rain until Thursday so perhaps we might get lucky with the rest of our crop which is down by at least half due to the hot dry weather earlier.

The weather is amazing isn't it? Gives us always something to talk about that is for sure and we never seem to like what it is doing. HA!

You have to make hay while the sun shines and it was supposed to shine all day on this July 4th holiday.

So we kicked and we raked and we mowed and we got ready to bale and the heavens opened up and rained on all our hard work.

We don't seem to be able to catch a freaking break this hay season.

But my garden and my weeds are growing like crazy. I have some tomatoes setting as well as some peppers and other stuff.

I am not doing much today. Checked in at work and did a bit here and there but nothing much. I went home and jerked off to a great fantasy with this young blond stud and then took a nap this afternoon and then back here for a little bit of work before heading home for a cook-out with some friends. A few beers, a few laughs and maybe some fireworks if we are lucky.

I will go to the park and hear some music tonight and then I have to go to a wedding tomorrow and maybe we will put up some hay on Saturday if the weather holds but with our luck lately that might not happen.

I am reading a great book by Barbara Kingsolver called Animal, Vegetable and Miracle. I am really enjoying it. About buyiung and eating local foods as much as possible and what has happened to our food industry especially here in the USA.

Guess I will also get in a few jerk off sessions read and nap! Can you tell I am off this weekend.

Well today is church for me and I hope it is a good sermon. One that I can ponder and think about as it might relate to my life all week long.

We were able to make more hay yesterday and that was good. One cute guy had his shirt off and he was sweating and had these great nipples. I kept staring at them and hoped he wouldn't see. His face was pretty scary. I hate to say it but this boy was one ugly guy. I usually try and find the best in all guys but this one had one face only a mother could love but the rest of his body was quite nice. He chewed tobacco and kept spitting which is gross to me. Once he spit and missed and it dripped down his chest before he laughed and wiped it off. GROSSSSS! Can you imagine kissing a mouth that has been chewing that gross stuff! YUCK!!!!

I saw the most amazing photo of Troy Allen the other day. He is naked and looking out a window through these blinds.
