It is Tuesday here in the mountains of Western NC but you probably already knew that didn't you???

Woke up with light snow flurries on the ground and high wonds and it was COLD!!! BRRRRRR!

Then we had some light rain and then more snow flurries and now the sun is shining but it is still very cold out which is great.

I am going to go see Glory Road this afternoon at the movies and tomorrow a few friends are going to see Brokeback Mountain. I never thought it would come to our little town and it probably won't stay long in this climate around her.

Today is the day. Some friends of mine and going with me to see Brokeback Mountain. After all the hype it is getting I will be gald to see what it is all about.

Then we will probably have some dinner out afterwards. Nice evening with friends.

Bust day today. I had a meeting in town this AM and then lots of good shit going on at work.

Things seem to be going well.

I saw this film yesterday with some friends. It was amazing and thought provoking and created quite a discussion amongst all of us later at dinner.

See this film. It is so sad I cried but it is so real and so beautifully filmed.

I felt all the emotions of the characters on the screen. The director did a surperb job and should be given the Oscar for what he created in this film.

The actors and actresses were incredible and made the story come alive with their interpretaion of the story and the events.

I reviewed the film in my movie thread. Enough said. I will be thinking about it for many days to come.

Today I am discussing my life insurance policy with my agent. What fun! But we need to think about it even though I hate the thought.

But it is a beautiful sunny day for talking about money and death!!!

Lots to do today getting ready for the weekend. Supposed to rain tomorrow but then turn to snow which will be good.

Let's see today we have had fog, rain, lots of rain. more rain and some more rain, then snow flurries and some sun and now more snow flurries.

I was able to write a bunch in my next chapter this morning before a meeting of a local organization I serve on that just got out a few minutes agao and now I am back to write some more but forst my BLOG!

I watched the film Longtime Companion last night about the beginning of AIDS in the gay community. Very touching film. I have never personally know anyone with AIDS but it must be hearbreaking to see someone you love sufgfer like they have and still do.

It snowed all night long. Not a huge snow but it is snow and I love the look of the world around here when it is covered in white. So clean and so beautiful.

We are still having flurries now and the sun has been shining as well and it is very cold. About 24 degrees.

Went to church this AM and it was good. Good sermon all about prayer and how to pray and what prayer means in our lives and how Jesus had to pray just like I have to pray. It was a good lesson and one that I can ponder all week long. Thank God for that.

I know there is a lot of interest in the Super Bowl but I could care less. Now don't shoot me but football does nothing for me at all. Sooooo boring!!!

Ay church the youht had national souper bowl which collects soup and money for local ministries that feed the hungry. I bought $20 worht of soup (chicken noodle and tomato) and donated those.

Monday and today up untill a few minutes ago I had meetings followed by meetings followed by lunch. I was famished when luch came around from sitting and talking and talking and sitting. That is exhausting work let me tell you. Takes more energy that ones thinks to attend meetings. OK stop laughing guys but it is true.

Today has been pretty cold and sunny and gorgeous. Perfect winter day. There is still some snow left on the ground but the roads are clear and it is a great day to be alive.

For some reason my mind wandered this AM during one of my meetings to treasure trails and how hot and sexy they are. I just love treasure trails. Thick or light they are still so freaking hot. It is now Tuesday and my truck has been in the shop all day and it will cost me $275 to get it back this afternoon. The rear spring brackets both rusted out from all the shit they throw on the roads around here for the ice and snow. Damn they can do some damage. But hey it's only money right. Seems like my car and my house always know when I have a few extra dollars and they zapp they take it just like that. Keeps the economy going I suppose.

More on my thoughts yesterday about treasure trails. I think they are so hot and irresistable. Just the sight of a treasure trail can get me almost instantly hard and leaking. Today some friends and I are traveling down the mountain to the flatlands of Charlotte NC to see John Prine in concert. He won a Grammy the other night. Hope the concert is worth the drive but it will be good to get off the moutain and in the "Big City"!

Well be careful what you wish for because you just might get it the old saying goes and we got about 5-6 inches of white powdery snow yesterday and last night and it is still coming down. Up on the mountain they got about 10-16 inches so the skiers are happy but already complaining about too much snow. Can't ever please anyone I suppose.

The John Prine concert was amazing and awesome and sweet and wonderful. He is incredible for a guy 60 years old. He is still able to sing and play guitar for over 2 hours. And his backup band was awesome.

John has had throat cancer and the fact that he is still out there playing his music is incredible. My hats off to him and all those old rockers and folkers who are still out there playing their music.

Well it is time to slip my truck into 4 wheel drive and head out for church.

Here where I live we only got about 8-10 inches but up on the mountain they got 18-24 inches and in Graham County they got 40 inches I heard. Wow now that is a lot of snow.

It snowed all day yesterday and most of the night.

Today it is very cold. BRRRRRR but the sun is shining and the parking lots and main roads are pretty much clear.

It is supposed to be extremely cold tonight but then warming up later this week.

The weather. Stick around and it will change on you.

Well should I give you an update on our weather here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, USA???

One of my loyal readers told me he likes my weather updates.

Weather people are an interesting bunch aren't they? They can predict the weather but they can't change it or make it happen and if they are wrong no one really gets mad or anything they just say "Oh OK" or something like that.

Don't we wish all our jobs were like that??? ROTFL

But seriously folks today is a bright but chilly sunshinny day here in the mountains. Still lots and lots of white snow on the ground but the roads are clear and it is OK to drive the main ones although the back roads are still covered with a layer of ice and snow and can be hard driving.

I have to go to town today and go to Staples, the Post Office and to get some food. I am cooking Valentines Day dinner for a few friends and we will eat and laugh and drink and maybe watch a movie together. Should be fun. 2 straight couples and 3 single men. 2 whom I think/know are straight and of course there is me. The one who outside looks and acts straight but inside is as gay as they come!

Check it out if you care to. I just posted a new chapter in the story of Tom and Timmy my alter ego's and the story of what I would have liked my life to have been when I was their age.

My teenage years were hell and I almost killed myself many times because I was in such pain and no one knew or asked. Back then no one I knew in my hometown knew anything at all about being gay or homosexual. The only photos and stuff I could see was National Geographic and photos of Greek statues. How weird was that??? Imagine how far being gay has come in 40 years. I am so happy people are able to be out and open about who they are and don't have to go through the torment I had to go through. Shit it was the pits.

The only thing is in many ways I don't regret a moment of my life as I wouldn't be who I am if I hadn't gone through it. So yes I would change it but then again who would I be if I could change it?

Lots of big questions but no real answers.

Not sure how the day slipped past me so quickly and then it was over. I had a lot of unexpected visitors and clients stop by my office and want a tour or to talk or somehting so then the day was over and I was out the door and I did not add anything to my blog. Hope you missed me and were not worried! LOL!!!

Today it was drizzling when I woke up and gray clouds were rolling through the valley. It had gotten warmer and looked bad outside. The wind was picking up.

This weekend is a holiday weekend for the schools so that means it is HUGE for us and for the ski resorts around here.

But not the sun is out and they say it will start to get colder as the day progresses and then we will get snow mixed with sleet and rain this evening depending on what the weather decides to do.

So it is up in the air.

Lots to do to get ready.

...you are having fun. I must be having fun or else suffering from a brain fart or something as I forgot to add to my blog yesterday.

Church was good yesterday. The priest had a good sermon but did annouce that Gene Robinson admitted himself into an alchohol reab clinic. I am sure the conservatives in our church will use this as a stone against the man instead of celebrating his admitting he needs help with an addiction and a problem in his life. As if he didn't have enough in his life to deal with. he and his family and partner are in my prayers.

It snowed again in the middle of the night and this morning the ground is covered with lovely white powder. It looks so beautiful and you can see the deer tracks in the snow everywhere.

I worked on my story yesterday some and got some great stuff written.

Its is mid week for most people today so I guess you are happy.

I have spent the last 4 hours talking about insurance. Damn I hate insurance and the fact we need to have it and it cost so damn much each year. Our liability policy is now over $40,000 each and every year and that doesn't cover all the other types of insurance we need. I am exhausted and worn out and ready to go home and sit in my favorite chair and jerk off thinking about some great guy.

I will be in Charlotte all day tomorrow so I will not be checking in at all. Will you miss me???
