For bear lovers, expect a significant number of bears there that weekend. Turns out it's Lucky Bear Weekend. They're staying in their own exclusive resort, but I'm sure we'll see a few choice specimens around town.

I can't get a single response from the people that live there. go figure, a meet is coming right to their front door, get a chance to hang out and none of them respond. Maybe they have me on ignore.

I'm in....made the reservations and am bringing a guest.My brother heard "Las Vegas" and he wanted to go.He knows what the meet is about but doesn't care,he's accepting and supportive as are my sisters and he wanted to go somewhere and had a week left of vacation time....not a bad place to go!I think Frank is supposed to be joining us,too...I wish there were more Jubbers going,and certainly those living in Vegas better come up from under the rock they've been hiding because we want to see you!

I haven't seen any mention of a schedule, or which hotel anybody is staying at, or how any of us will find each other???????? (And, in some cases, even if I know which hotel somebody stays at, I don't always know their last name used for checking in.)

I'm looking forward to it in just about a week, but not all that sure that I'll even go after all, if there's no apparent way to meet up. Does anybody have info on that?

If one or two of you carry a cell phone, maybe you could PM me your number? I'd like to find somebody when I get to LV. And what time are people showing up?

Please, how and when can we find each other?

I will gladly consider picking up somebody at the airport, which may avoid a rental car in that case, I'll be happy to do that.

Yes, I'm bringing my camera and laptop, so will be Facebooking and posting pictures to JUB. I have qualms about how good an idea it is to expose myself (OK, I'm not really Steve Jobs), but I promised myself I would. I just know that someday Google will allow you to search by face/photo, and all my friends/coworkers will know all my kinky details posted here. Ah, privacy is dead.

I hate that our flight doesn't get in til past 10pm,and I'm no sure if my brother and I will get to the Stratosphere before midnight!Sorry that Quanchi can't make it...it sucks but it's understandable.These things happen but hopefully you will be able to make it soon enough,whether it's in Las Vegas again or another location.
