Vegemite - the sequel

I like Vegemite. Y'all complaining it's yukky just don't know. You don't spread it on toast like jam or jelly. You spread it buttered toast, as a glaze. That's how a friend from Oz showed me.

Or, just get a spoonful and eat it. Like a spoon of peanut butter. That works too.

If it is the one I think you mean, it's been taken over by one of those funky sweet stores recently.

There was also a -much better- English store a bit further out from the center, run by a lady from the U.K. that closed when she moved back there.

It had frozen crumpets.

I just found out that the "All Things British" shop in the South Sound area of Seattle closed when the wonderful couple that owned it moved back to the UK.

I'm absolutely heartbroken - such wonderful people and a great ensemble of imported products that made Seattle locals smile!
