I get skewered for not only saying I'm gay, but also because I don't sound like a good Christian with writing secular and throwing in an occasional “twat” in my religious writing.
But I'm not the one saying that the LGBTQ are culture monsters to fight instead of neighbors whose feet you wash.

They would know that my Christianity is more the real one if they weren't all such twats.

In fact they do sound like a bunch of twats. and I don't mean that in a deliciously carnal sense.

Ditch the Pharisees, hang out with the so called 'sinners' and prove by action and not speeech or words.

You will be the better person for it and not so fretful about what the other cult members think.
 
I like to chase the anti-gay "Christian" into mud puddles. Why would I stop playing with my toys? I like to break them.

The other part is telling the LGBTQ the Biblical God loves them, what is so needed right now with the climate of Christian nationalism and our rights being ripped to shreds by people who claim they love Jesus.

Live your faith? What I live and die by.
 
It seems to me the line between being a "good" Christian and a "bad" Christian is awfully thin.

Notice how when they say, "Love the sinner, hate the sin," everyone knows exactly who they're talking about? I have yet to hear someone say, "Love the sinner, hate the sin of you fucking around on your wife and always lying through your teeth."
 
It is fruitless to argue with people whose minds are filled with judgment and hate. They may quote from the same Bible, but they don't have the same religion we do. The way I look at it, I look at Jesus' statements that we love our neighbors as ourselves and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you, are the basis for living a life of integrity. If someone claims to be a Christian yet cannot do these very basic things, I don't give a damn about what they've got to say about the rest of it, and I don't need to listen to their tripe.

But I think it is necessary that we have people like you to minister to the broken LGBTQ+ people who come from those backgrounds, to heal and find a positive message to replace all the negativity that they likely have heard all their lives. You can do a lot more by helping these people than to keep arguing with those who are "so blind that they refuse to see."

I HAVE to refute the "anti-gay/ex-gay" lie, because if I don't? People will believe there is no refutation. When I debate, those who fight me are a means to an end; I have already left them to a God given judgment. I do it for those in the shadows, those who don't comment, but are listening to our back and forth without making their presence known. THOSE are the hearts the Power of God will reach.

I'm being dead serious in saying that not a week goes by without me being called a demon or false teacher, but that's fine. I'm not a nice Christian; I'm a Christian who will drag you across the floor by your jaw to keep gay men and women from being hurt by you. No one will ever say, "You give off such a wonderful glow of Jesus!" But I CAN equip you with the hard apologetics that can refute ANY Bible scholar who tells you homosexuality is condemned in what is the Word of God to me. This work was never my own, and the proof of that is that I have never been refuted with what I've written on the Bible verses. I'm pretty stupid with everything else, but I can speak the language of a theologian to refute theologians who teach the opposite of me, like I said, this work was never my own.

^Which goes back to my point that it's useless to argue with these people. Though if one of them has resorted to name calling, that means you're at least getting under his skin.
 
What gets under their skin is that I have the balls to fight them on the Bible they claim to love and follow. You've never come across like me, a non-progressive Christian who holds the words of the Bible in a higher integrity than they do.

Remember, these are fellow Christians calling me a demon and viper. Why? Because I say a Christ-centered marriage is permissable in a Christian ethic.

Don't get it twisted. The Pharisees were the religious who hypocritically judged others, what he's doing with the LGBTQ. I only hold the Christian to a correct Biblical standard.
He offends the LGBTQ in the Name of Christ, I invite the LGBTQ into the Kingdom of Heaven in the Name of Christ.
 
This is frustrating. You can't argue with him because he will just argue back. It would be nice if you could reach his audience to explain yourself, but his audience hears only his side of the story, not yours. There is no answer for this but to trust in God.
