when I saw this I got my hopes up that it had been released.

Uggh. this has gone on for weeks and weeks!!!

warned the judge? Do they take kindly to that?

You’re talking about people that let themselves be quoted saying Judge Walker can not be impartial because he is gay. I don’t think they are too bright to begin with.

Anyway I would think Walker would be more prone to do something about that than being “warned.” I am sure he thought of that himself already.

BTW, I'm so frazzled I can't sleep. So I will be pulling an all nighter on JUB tonight in all likelihood, getting ready for work around 6. LOL

Your productivity will be through the roof tomorrow. ..|

Thanks for your insomnia and keeping us advised.
I don't say thanks enough.

Finally.

A telling judicial blow against religion in the US.

No, not religion. That's just not true.

It is. The Mormons and other religious organizations financed Prop 8. This maybe tells them that the money was wasted.

Thanks JB for the thread keeping us all up to date...

Also -- thanks again for actually GOING to California prior to the actual VOTE on Prop 8...

Your an AWESOME advocate for our communities common goals -- and we appreciate you for that...

:):):)

I believe what droid was saying is that it is not a judicial blow against religious freedom or expression, which is certainly true. The religious are just as free to hate gays as they were before.

However it is surely a blow against their interests, which include discrimination against gays.

It's a great day for civil rights. Alas, I hate to pour cold water on our happiness, but I fear this will never get past the right wingers on the SCOTUS.

I don't want to hear another god damned word about conservatives who all hate us after this brilliant work by Ted Olson. Here is a guy who understands the meaning of equal protections, along with David Boies.

Nice job men!
