Its not depressing - its inspirational! If Kiwi can go to such great and ultimate lengths, surely the little efforts we would need to make to live our dreams would be worth it.

Of course, you don't have to look at it as if Kiwi went splat simply because you hear that sound after the screen goes black. He could've just hit the wall after his attempt and is now taking that energy to make a plane out of that tree. I'm in a rose tinted, glass half-full mood.

What a brilliant animation. A lot of thought and hard work must have gone into that and that is shown by our reactions to it. If I had a hat I would take it off to the creator. It has achieved the emotions in us that the creator must have envisaged, sad, happy, inspirational and uncertain and thoughtfull.

OMG it was sad, then i guess i didn't have the volume up that loud because i started to think...well it didn't have to die, there wasn't a splat. then after it was mentioned there was i splat i turned up the volume and heard it. not it's even sader. but it did get to live it's dream of flying.
