Vice President Joe Biden Calls Out Hillary For "No We Can't" Mentality

hillary knows republicans will fight her tooth and nail no matter what, they hate her more than Obama but somehow she has a better chance than Bernies? Dumb democrats.

anyone else find it interesting that Joe Biden and Sanders wife are saying what I said 2 weeks ago?

people are disgusted with Hillary because they feel her campaign has turned into a giant trolling machine ran by corporate democrats that it makes her look really bad for not being the better person, and not even trying. attacking Donald...really, is that all she has?

Speaking of giant trolling machines.......

Joe Biden doesn't care for Hills narrative that Bernie is not pragmatic and that his ideas are too big

No we can't is not the ticket

Joe's never had a problem telling the truth or thinking big - it gets him into trouble sometimes

But here he nails it

Hillary is the candidate of "no we can't" and that's defeatist and not very progressive now is it

Looking at the actual interview that your article quotes http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/22/us/politics/biden-looks-back-aspirations-intact.html?smprod=nytcore-ipad&smid=nytcore-ipad-share&_r=1

It appears Biden is talking about style, rather than substance. It's notable that he has tried unsuccessfully to run for president.
Everyone has there own style, and Biden's is closer to Sanders. I don't think that's a controversial notion.

no it doesn't "appear" that way at all

and it's consistent with his prior public statements that on the issue of income inequality that Hills was "relatively new" to the issue

wonder what you think that "really" meant

as for "style" I like skinny ties - that's style

thinking big is not a style - trying to accomplish big things is not a style

excuse making is not attractive or honest

You're quoting two articles from the same outlet that both quote a New York times interview with Biden.
I quote the New York times interview.

You are quoting other people's speculation about what Biden thinks as fact, Biden himself is more circumspect.

Putting words in others' mouths is useless.

Im not sure how much clout Biden has within the Democratic party but we have known for a while how Biden feels about the lying stealing Clintons, who just got called out for using sandy hook victims as political cannon fodder.

Maybe he will publicly endorse Bernie and with him a wave of other democrats, I think Biden may be waiting for the right time to stick it to Hills, hes got nothing to lose.

If he was going to endorse Bernie, he should have done it a month ago.

If he was going to endorse Bernie, he should have done it a month ago.

Pretty much this. There's nothing to gain at this point. Biden isn't going to see the Democrat party ripped apart to support a candidate who has no chance of winning the nomination.

Pretty much this. Obviously there is a whole blogger industry out there these days, devoted to parsing the words of powerful figures in the Democrat party sphere...looking for hidden endorsements for one candidate or the other.

Who has time to waste with the 'Let me tell you what I think they are saying' noise makers?

LOL - he couldn't - it's not "politic" - if he was Senator Biden sure, not as VP though

that's who he prefers just as Obama prefers Hillary - the Pres. can be slightly more overt and has been

part of the role of VP is accepting what you cannot do - Joe B. IMO has learned that skill over time and has done Obama a great service over the 8 years when in the early years he seemed more like a bad choice

pretty much not this

it was reported in the NY Times

he was QUOTED

rooting for Hills is one thing - licking her boots or behind is quite another

silence is preferable to lying

Biden says Bernie's big ideas - making the country great through big initiatives - IS THE WAY TO GO

that Hills slow and steady blah blah blah

is blah blah blah

and not the stuff of the Democratic party

what part of that is not clear ??

PS it's ok - the establishment/old guard/their followers outnumber real progressives - that's the truth

don't run from it

big ideas are not the stuff Hills is made of - she's old and tired and likes the way it is just fine

she made $28MM last year - $10.5M on speeches - the kinds of speeches she doesn't want us to know about - transcripts she won't share - remember Mitt Romney and the 47% thing ?

It's funny when Clinton supporters think she will get things done... Yet they don't know what that is.

It's as misguided as the Trump crowd who think he'll suddenly turn professional when he enters the white house.
Hillary is not fighting for you, she's all in this for herself and her rich donors.

Is it matter anyway??? Any negative comments from democrats toward at Hillary right now sounds bitter because of Bernie... Will he endorse Trump when HIllary and Trump face up @ the Election? I doubt that, unless he secretly vote against his party... ha ha...

We don't know what what is? That sentence made no sense.

Also, thanks for negating decades of public service you clearly have no knowledge about. Easier to regurgitate republican propaganda, I guess...

Misquoting and reinterpretation changes the message... see above for an example.

In the mean time, back in 2014 a well funded Republican Super PAC embarked on a 'grassroots' campaign criticising Clinton by posing as progressives: America Rising.
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/08/america-rising-hillary-clinton-trolling

By posing as progressives, they don't have to defend the actions and motives of Republican leaders while criticising Democrat leaders.

They'll pull a Swift Boat on Bernie if he gets the nomination too.

She'll follow the Obama-Bush path of putting the government even more in the hands of the corporations.

There's no question. I can imagine so many ways that they would swift-boat Bernie with the power and money of the Koch Bros. and FOX.

They won't even need to invent, some of the things he's actually for are scary enough to the troglodyte set.

You Canukunists - with your RED flag, we ALL know what your agenda is!!!

'MURICA!!

"Swiftboating" of Bernie is not germane to this topic

You have the strong tendency to just sorta write what suits you instead of what the thread is about

THIS THREAD IS ABOUT JOE BIDEN'S SUPPORT OF "YES WE CAN" AND BIG DEM IDEAS

and the truth that that is a Sanders thang and not a Hillary thing

that the Democratic Party is one of reaching high not being afraid

ok ??

Oh sugar, trying to tell people what they can say just makes you look desperate.
