(Vid) Scariest amusement ride ever? You decide.

did the Vegas rides on the top of the statosphere at night only after alot of coaxing from my best friend and about 3 beers. It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life, but I knew I would regret it if I didnt go on them, so I am glad I did.

Would you go on it?

Gsdx, I’m 48 years old and I still I LOVE thrill rides, so this one in your video I would ride. No prob. Yet since around the 80's, when they came out with those stand alone ma-and-pa business thrill rides (i.e. portable bungee jumps), where you usually have to pay $30+ for one ride on it, I DO NOT ride those rides . . . because most of the time, they look unsafe and they do not seem to be bolted down well-enough to my liking. However the ride in your video, I would ride it in a heartbeat ..|, yet that ride does not look too comfortable. :( Yet over the years, I have found some thrill rides are more rough than fun, so I usually will not ride a ride a second time if it is too rough where I get banged-up by the end of the ride, thrill rides where I get roughed-up are not fun to me. :( Yet if they scare the crap out of me  “in comfort”, I LOVE them!

The scariest ride of all is the one in Las Vegas that is 1200 plus feet above the stratosphere tower....it is terrifying and I can not imagine anyone going on it but, many do. There is always a chance for mechanical error and then.....well, 1200=1400 foot fall is going to be painful, at best...my advice...stay off.

I agree with you, Tider39. I would never ride this ride, but I have seen it plenty of times while in Las Vegas. Upon looking at this video, "to me" the people are dropping/moving faster in person that what the video depicts.

P.S. I think they make you sign a waiver, that you will not hold them responsible or sue them in case you get injured or die or get killed on the ride. :)
