I have both a Playstation and a Playstation 2...

I love both systems ... only because some of the best games were released on those systems... (yes we could argue this but that's not the point)

I recently bought a game on Ebay... which I have been dying to get my hands on... It was for the original format not PS2. (Castlevania. Symphony of the Night ...before you ask)

Now at the moment I only have my PS2 hooked up and don't really feel like hooking my original up...but when I try to save the game progress on my PS2 it tells me there is no memory card found..

The memory card is working fine with all other games and it is by no means full...

Does anyone have any idea of this problem and how to rectify it?

A PS2 memory card won't save PS1 data. You can plug in your PS1 memory card into the memory card dock if you have one, though, and it will work.

#-o#-o#-o

I don't know why I never thought about that before.... for some reason I just assumed..( we all know what that does) that you could save PS1 games on a PS2 card...

i know plenty of people who dislike X-Boxes.

i'm constantly amazed at all the cool stuff my Wii can do. (not a pun). and PS2s seem to be way better than X-Box as well. the controls suck and there really aren't a lot of games i like.

the only cool thing about X-Box is how my friend put a ton of old school games on it. i played Yoshi's Island all the time on his X-Box. and Dr. Mario. the controls still suck though.
