VIDEO: Racist Paris Hilton Clip Surfaces Online: "We're Like Two N*ggers..."

As Paris Hilton makes headlines this week with her lawsuit against a website that published her personal business, new video footage of the socialite has surfaced on the internet (scroll down to see it) that may do way more damage to her public image than that Web site ever could.

Perhaps one of her personal items exposed on the Internet is a video clip that clearly shows Paris using both the N-word and the F-word during a social function.

In the footage, Paris and her sister Nicky are at a house party dancing by themselves to the sounds of Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize.” A male friend who dances in between them was referred to as a “faggot” by both Hilton sisters.

Then, at about 2 minutes and 45 seconds into the footage, Paris approaches the camera and laughs, “We’re like two niggers.”

The “Simple Life” star, who recently reunited with her black former best friend, Nicole Richie, steps to the camera again at about 3:55 to vent about a run-in with a woman at the party, whom she describes as a “f*ckin’ hoodlum, broke, poor bitch from like, Compton – public school bitch.”

To cap things off, the video ends with the videographer yelling, “Todd’s a thug nigga.”

Well, up to know races where not an issue because they swept them back in the XVIIth century... So we never took it seriously from them until now because it´s now that some people are perceived as "different"... gipsies have been always made fun of just like with politicinas, rich people or anyone.
Apart from that, Spaniards, like Europeans, can make fun of personal "peculiarities" in a way that US people would find more offensive than funny: that I have always been aware of.

But the context is weird. She was referring to herself and her sister. So while you can say the word is racist, I am not sure you was intending to be racist. Its just like college kids holding thug parties - they are trying to be what they consider cool. Its weird but not necessarily racist.

that's the point, some things aren't funny. not because they're offensive, but they're just not funny.

Everything can be funny, what is not funny is people who can´t distinguish fun from harm and therefore censor. You can poke fun at fat people because they are fat, at skinny because they are skinny... wealthy, poshy, trashy, pale, very dark-skinned, gay, flamboyant gay, straight, preacher "straight"... the point is not to mean that they are dirt because of the way they are, or fall in the opposite extreme which therefore acknowledges those discriminating phobias.

I know different societies have their own taboos, but saying that some taboos are justified "by nature" is not being enlightened, polite and tolerant, but precisely the contrary under a polite and tolerant and enlightened appearance: they are involved in another form of violence and that attitude fosters the discrimination they supposedly fight.
The guy with dark, curly hair in that article about same-sex marriage in Spain is precisely an example of the kind of hypocrisy that, under the appearance of fighting for justice, makes a living from it. That piece of good-for-nothing shit, with no education, no profession, used to live from gay marketing until he discovered he would be better off by joining a leftist party and saying that (he actually said it, it´s not my "interpretation") he is happy that there are intolerant people so that people like him can keep the status they have.

I can accept you can be "intolerant" (have zero tolerance) to fight some forms of intolerance, but you must be aware that fighting racism, for example, doesn´t mean not saying the n* word, but working to achieve that it doesn´t mean any harm when it is said: when people couldn´t take seriously that someone is "different", let alone "inferior" for having certain physical features.

US people are more hypersensitive to n-words because of their history, like Europeans are so with respect to groups displaying nazi sympathies. Are we then saying that US people think that discriminating and murdering the Jews is not as serious as doing so with black people? I don´t think so.


On a lighter tone, when I say this or that supposedly hot model is "ugly" I only mean that people don´t take either judgement too seriously. To say someone is ugly out of despite of not being considered as attractive as him is not that different from guilelessly meaning that someone is the peak of physical or intellectual perfection.

you're basically trying to revise tact.. america does make a big deal about racism and being anti-racist but the point still stands that what she's doing is low-humor and isn't something anyone with a brain would appreciate; nor it is something anyone should think is healthy.

It's strange that America is so against the use of the "n" word, which many black people use to refer to each other. It's also strange that you look down at her use of the word faggot when there are significant proportions of gay men who address each other as "faggots" and even use terms like "fag hag"

Oh and belamy I can just about see your argument (though it sounds muddled in places) and I do agree partially but this video is a prime example of her stupidity.
