VIDEO: World's Gayest Dancer

Before American Idol, he was on "So You Think You Can Dance". You should have seen his bit there. He came on stage and asked where he could put his fur jacket down.

Before you add your comment to this thread, you should watch the video in the first post.

Now, I'm going to get bitchy.

Why, you ask? Did I cross my pills or mix up my drinks? No, but let me tell why I'm having a little hissy fit right now.

Because of all the freaking hate.

Now ladies, yes, the boy is irrating. And over the top.

But he's still human and what's more, he has every right to be as gay as he wants to be. And he firmly believes in himself (deludedly), and that's something to celebrate, not strike down.

And further, I question if this isn't more internal queer hatred where we all decide to pick on someone gayer than us. The whole "internilized homophobia" aspect of things?

Or even, why has no one pointed out that the producers of the shows are exploiting his gayness and shows like "so you think you can dance" and "american idol" are known for their homophobiac treatment of gay contestants.

He's queer, he has a lisp, he's from the bronx, the head band make his forehead larger, but he's still human, he's one of us, and maybe he deserves better than a baseball bat to the head.

ps: wtf? You want to gay bash him? Assult him because you don't like him? Is there more than a little distrubing irony there?

I don't hate him. I find him arrogant, pushy, ignorant, insulting, untalented, and he personifies every single gay stereotype and magnifies them to the point of being absurd. The guy is an insult to gay men everywhere.

No I don't think he should dance on his show. He should just talk. "Paula was sitting there with her hands over her ears like it's World War 80." "Silence! This is a library, and I'm reading you." He did an hour-long interview on that Internet radio show that talks about American Idol and he was brilliant. Maybe if you just hear him instead of seeing him you appreciate his biting, sarcastic wit. His grandparents must be Dorothy Parker, Dick Cavett, Howard Cosell and Joan Rivers.

He can't think of anything witty to say in the video I watched. All he can do is swear, fail at counting to three, make racist insults, and pronounce 'because' with a Q.

He doesn't seem all that witty to me... I dunno if that was an off day, or something, but he is - at best - inconsistent.

What an unpleasant person. A parody taking itself seriously is never a pleasant object to behold. But he's no more or less irritating than the rest of the freakshows these "talent" programs bring crawling out of the woodwork.

I would only object to him being called the "gayest" anything. Gayness is not measured by being irksome, delusional, and poorly dressed. I don't know what it is measured by (the cosine of visual fabulousness divided by the sum of sexual hotness?) but that's definitely not it.

exactly.

I do love Robert~Marlene's posts.......

I count on them to convey what I intended, only much more artfully and expressive.

He's wacky...

I've thought hard about Ian Benardo .. and think that although he maybe an extreme stereotypical example of a queer, I like that he is getting the attention he so badly desires.

I think that most people know someone who is gay or at least have one gay friend – and when they compare their gay friends to Ian Benardo they understand that most gays are not as flamboyant.

I also have to credit Ian Benardo for being pround of himself and having the strength to present himself so vigorously. I can imagine a character like him takes on homophobia from the left and right - and he obviously has developed a thick skin.

On a personal level, I would love it if there were an "Ian Benardo" in my town - I would find it amusing to watch him sashaying about our local gaybar like he owned the place. I have a penchant for guys with tight bodies. I'm even more attracted to men if they are good dancers.

Honestly, while watching him prance...the thought of watching Ian's sweet tight ass bouncing and gyrating on my extremely hard cock fills my mind.

With this understanding, i can comfortably find it in myself to wish Ian well.

So to Ian...should he come across this string... i send you my best regards in a way he would surely understand:

YOU GO GUUUUURRRRLLL!

It's prissy little cunts like Ian that make people like me struggle to come out. Who would want to emulate that idiot? Someone please put him out of his misery, or get him of national television.
