Vintage Wines

I am very saddened.

The latest round of anti-viral meds I have taken have destroyed my palette for wine.

I am hoping that, like after I had pneumonia and then bronchitis after COVID, the taste buds will return...but in my experience, where there are now things like chocolate and coffee and tea that I can't abide any more...I won't recover the receptors for wine.

Post bee stings this fall, I now have an actual allergy to a number of wines and spirits.

I had Port this past week and was okay, but a glass of Tuscan red made my face burn.

So not too much for Christmas then.
