Alright guys, I've got a question (obviously lol). I was recently talking to a guy I met online who lives near me. We were both looking for a long-term relationship and we basically had what the other was looking for in a partner, except for one big difference... he wanted to have sex practically on the first date and I wanted to wait until I felt a connection. He ended up blowing up on me and told me I'm never going to find my "prince" and I'll be a virgin until I'm 30, maybe even 40.
That's really just the preamble to my question: Is it so bad that I want to wait until I find somebody I actually care about? Obviously the chances of the "fairytale romance" are slim and I won't be with the guy who takes my v-card forever, but is it so bad to want it? Is it really that un-realistic?
On a seperate note, me and the guy started talking again and we're still kinda friends. So, try not to focus on the guy being a jerk or the fact that it was an internet hook-up, but instead focus on the question "Is it so bad to want to keep your virginity until you love someone?"
Thanks guys!!
