I think I have accidently downloaded a VIRUS on my computer, someone said to look in my HARDDRIVE C,but I don't know what to look for. It's something called Clean up! Please HELP!!!:help:

IF you can download anything......if the virus hasn't blocked the necessary ports......go here: http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-cleanup-antivirus

If you CAN'T download what you need in IE, go toi TOOLS: internet options; connections; settings and make sure the USE PROXY box is UNCHECKED. IF that doesn't work get it from another computer.
THis is hard one to erradicate.
It took me some time to do it and even then I couldn't complete it without doing a system restore which required me to REdownload and REinstall a couple programs......but his computer is FINE.
GOOD LUCK......you're gonna need it.

And for the future, install antivirus software like Avast or AVG.

I did a restore on my computer about 10 minutes ago and so far no signs of it, could that have worked?

That seems totally NOT plausible........
If you say so I guess......but you'd better run everything you have while you can.......and for crying loud get AVAST.......it's FREE and the NEW free version is the best yet.
If you're a Windows dood running XP or later go to M$ and get Windows Defender....also free.

When the virus writers decide there are enough mac users to bother with......LOOK OUT.......
BTW.....you AREN'T immune......

Doind a system restore DOES NOT wipe out the virus. I use multiple things to keep my computer working well and everyone should do the same really. If one security program fails to catch the virus or malware, the other one usually does. I use AVAST Antivirus which is free alongside with MalwareBytes and also when needed, SUPERAntiSpyware.

I have also found another great antimalware/antispyware program that might be able to help out too which is called Emsisoft Anti-Malware. Hope this has helped out!
