It's like giving a band-aid to someone born with a terminal illness.

i would rather have a terminal disease than use a mac ..|

it seems using a mac destroys brain cells free will and people to hate other for no real reason and there is no way i could support a company who's fans are a bunch of smug pricks who think they are better for using a mac i pity you all

Just for the record, I have Vista. So my previous comment wasn't that of a misinformed Mac user.

Ubuntu is nice, still trying to work some stuff out on 7.10.

Has anyone tried Madriva (with the latest update supporting Windows Mobile 6) or Freespire?

Get the 32bit version of Ubuntu, or else you will have problems like no idea.

So what has been your problems with Vista, cause I have had none, and I got it literally the day it came out. Although that was Basic, but now I have Premium on a new computer, and my computer is fast as sin with no compatability problems.

I'm a pc gamer. On XP, my games rarely crashed. On Vista, every one has been crashing. The type of PC games I play can push a OS more than most any software. They demand solid memory management, which Vista does not have, at least not with software that is memory intensive. The whole memory management system in Vista has been (carelessly) reworked since XP.

Well I got SP1 and everything is nice and nifty. I didn't have any problems to begin with so I am noticing nothing new to tell the truth.
