Hey guys, my brother introduced me to Vitaminwater today. I've heard about it before, but never really paid much attention to it. Now that i've tried it does anyone know much about this product? Is it meant to be supplement like a vitamin...

I currently work as a agent for a modeling agency and one of our models is a spoke person for Vitaminwater. The product is not meant by any means to be a supplement for Vitamins. Their idea is that water is good for you and if they can encourage you to drink more water and be able to get more nutritional value out of it. Its not bad really... I like the lemonade flavor!

I dont know much about the product but the other day I go VitaminEnergy. It was really good and didnt seem to give me the quick jump start and then complete fall in energy that other energy drinks give me. The Fruit punch VitaminEnergy is really good.

I was impressed to see that they had a Dragonfruit flavor. I love dragonfruit! So I drunk VitaminWater, but I don't really see them as vitamin supplements nor do I really take teir 'effects' seriously.

Aren't the majority of beverages that aren't water filled with calories and sugar?

Are you making a point or trying to be bitchy? I thought we were talking about Vitamin water? Not the majority of beverages.

No, what I'm saying is that Vitaminwater being full of calories and sugar is pretty much the same decription of anything that isn't water. Juices have calories and sugar, as do power drinks, energy drinks, sodas, and alcohols...even milk, though that sugar isn't as sweet.

Though in truth, Vitaminwater reminds me of a niftier Gatorade, and those seem to have less sugar and calories than any other beverage you would drink other than water.

So unless your point is that everyone should be drinking water, I don't see how having sugar and calories detracts from Vitaminwater.

I love the XXX one. I only drink 2 a day because they are kinda cal. rich for a drink. the whole bottle is like 120. There isnt that much sugar in them tho. uber tasty. XXX is the way to go.

Im guessing is simply about marketing and the trend now is health and the name vitamin water sure does make it sound helthy but its just juice. beside i dont think vitamins are water salubile--they are absorbed in to the body better when fat is present... but dont quote me on that

I think I drink it because they don't take themselves so seriously. Every description on the bottle is a joke. If I'm going to drink something other than milk, fruit juice, or water, I might as well drink something that shares my sense of humor.

I believe it's 24grams of Sugar....people drink them cause they think that it is good for them cause it's called Vitamin water....but really it's not all that good for you besides the little bit of vitamins in it.

any of those types of drinks (Sobe Life Water etc.) are all chock full of sugar....so really your better off drinking the naturally flavored waters

why cant people just drink water normally without the flavors/BS. Or is the quality of water in your area really that bad?

My water is tainted with the semen of fratboys. Oh wait.

Actually, I love water. So I guess Vitaminwater can be my "pop".

The XXX flavor is the most incredible thing I have ever drank in my life. But, as said, they do have sugar (less than a coke), so I try to drink 1 a day.

I drink the one that Kelly Clarkson is a spokesperson for I think something kiwi, and then the lemonade one.
