Not quite the same as yours,so should I update my drives? or is there another way?

ps: love your color scheme!!

Thankyou Noelie, but it only went up alittle bit and I still need headphones to hear what they're saying. Maybe I should just switch back to XP?

Its sony Vaio I dont know what make but it was made in 2007

Model: VGN-N325E/B
Operating System(s): Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium

There ya go :)

You can try the drivers they have for your sound, but they were last updated on 4/16/07 so but it's specifically for vista home premium so if you upgraded to Vista from XP maybe you don't have these drivers.

here is the link: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNN325EB&UpdateType=Everything

just look way down down to where it says "Audio (sound)" and then click the download now button (a little globe).

Tried it,it still didnt work. I googled the problem and im not the only one with this problem.

are you plugged into the right plug it kinda sounds like your plugged into the mic or other plug

i have done it before so its possible thats the problem

Stuff you need according others with the same problem:

1. Sony Utils DLL
2. Sony Shared Library
3. Vaio Event Service
4. Setting Utility Series.

It would seem that the original manufacturer's drivers (in this case Realtek) are no good to you and you have to use the Sony drivers - this is because Sony often (mostly) uses proprietary versions of hardware.

I have to buy these drivers?

I hope you had a good day,or night!

The warranty expires on November 5th 2012,so dont worry :)

They didnt work,im just gonna give tech support a mean dis-satisfied phone call. Thankyou for all your help, its greatly apperciated :)
