Last night at a party,
i ate food with 2 bottles of beer, 2 glasses of red wine an some soft drink.

When got home i felt sick and had to vomit.
This morning still feeling sick. Was the vomit caused by food or by the alcohol?
And what is the treatment?

I hate vomiting, it felt so uncomfortable :(

It could be either. (Food/bacteria or the booze.) Was your stomach in pain or were you just nauseous?

If it has stopped then you're fine :) and no need to worry what it was. I know it's uncomfortable (I hate it) but it's your body's way of expelling a toxin so that you can get better/ stay healthy.

Not in pain,
just nauseous and discomfort, and still feeling like vomiting :(
If it is alcohol, i won't drink again, it is just not worth of being feeling sick.

I am absolutely terrified of vomiting and I would go to just about any lengths to prevent it. These include never drinking alcohol and usually only eating food that I make myself as well as always having compazine and zofran on my person. If you still feel sick, I would go to the ER and they will hydrate you and give you something for the nausea.

How do you have access to Compazine? Isn't that administered by prescription/ how'd you get the prescription?

Uh oh, things just got illegal in here. XD

But it can really be either, Telstra. Don't worry much about it, though.

I think it would be difficult to diagnose you just on one day and online. Everyone's alcohol tolerance is different. But if the food caused you to vomit, you might want to ask others at the party if they've been feeling a little uneasy since last night.

Don't mix your drinks.

Either drink wine, or drink beer. Never combine.

Ensure that you rehydrate with two glasses of water to every glass of alcohol consumed.

Limit your alcohol intake to two, maximum three glasses.

Before consuming alcohol drink a glass of milk, or a table spoon of olive oil.

Avoid drinking alcohol on an empty stomach.

Unless you're completely unused to drinking (and that would be hard to believe of an Aussie!) I doubt that two beers and two glasses of wine would do it. I'd put my money on the food.

The treatment is pretty much the same though. Eat little or nothing for 24 hours and drink plenty of water. That should see you right Bruce.

The compazine is very easy to obtain. When you have an infected throat and need antibiotics just tell the doctor that they make you very nauseous. They will simply write you a prescription.

You must have been hungover once before. Is it the same feeling? Also, did you eat/drink water before drinking? If you're unsure it's probably the food because you probably know your drinking limits...

My stomach was still full after 24 hours.
Feeling much better now.

Drank beer first, then food, then red wine ...
I think it was the bad mixture of drinks, and food ... hence vomiting and diarrhea .

Were you drunk/hung over?

The only times I've ever vomited from alcohol it was clear that I was drunk and had had too much. If that wasn't the case it would seem odd that alcohol was the sole reason.

Nope not drunk.
It was just a bad mixture of drinks and food.
The stomach rejected it and made you vomit.
