Would you be really angry if you have to wait this long to vote ?
I would be angry, look for the mayor and cause trouble ...

Unbelievable. I've never waited longer than 20 minutes to vote in Australia. Clearly Florida needs more polling booths.

I'm shocked by the waiting time. I wouldn't wait for even 30 minutes to vote.
And i would always do a postal vote for inconvenience sake.

My hometown only has 12k people and about 7k of them voted. I would say that is near 100% turnout (considering the town's high school has about 1k students alone). The hardest part was actually parking because asshole sign holders were told to park on the street and not the parking lot which was reserved for voters only.

I voted in Florida yesterday about 8:30 AM. There was no wait at my location, in fact there were empty booths. Later in the day when walking the dog I went by the polling location and the parking lot was busy but there was no line at the door as in past elections.
A couple different friends voted early in person over the past week. Neither said there was much of a wait or any problem. One waited about 20 minutes. This was very contrary to what the local news was reporting on the sparse few early polling locations in my area of Tampa Bay.
Prior to heading out to the polls I was dreading it because of all the news reports. In fact if there was a long line I might have turned around because it was raining. Maybe it would have held some back from voting preferring to have a root canal over stand in a line for hours.

I see videos and pics of these crazy long lines to vote all the time with American elections. The longest I have EVER waited to vote here (Canada) was definitely less than 2 minutes.

Despite his best efforts at voter supression,it was all for naught.

It is a fucking disgrace in states where they have discouraged voting. I live in Georgia, went to a black voting station for early voting and I was in and out in 10 minutes. White Republican precincts do everything they can to discourage people who look like they might vote Democratic. My state is turning browner and browner. I may not live long enough to see it, but Georgia's minority will be before long the majority. Fat white guys with thick wallets are going to be truly trashed--and good riddance! By the way, I am a WASP. but liberal just this side of socialist.

You may be correct in a general sense, but I didn't notice anything akin to that this year in my "White Republican precinct."

That I would agree that. Some forces that be want Georgia remain regressive yet wants to enjoy the benefits of Atlanta. You cannot have your cake and eat it too...

Do you look like a brown person?

Kidding, but I have been repeatedly told by my brown partner that I miss a lot of the bigotry because it's not aimed at me.

.
the waiting lines are shocking.
People should not have to wait for more than 10 minutes to vote.

Of course they are shocking, there is simply no excuse for it, none at all.

It was an attempt to surpress Democractic voters or at least make it so the outcome won't be known. It might have worked but this time,it didn't matter.
It's still an outrage though.
