I am using Vuse 4.0 to download torrents. Some of the torrent file size are too big. Can any one teach me how to download part of the torrent (certain files only). Greatly appreciate the advice.

I stopped using Vuze and went to uTorrent. Pretty much you just click the torrent and then you can select the files you don't want to download and right click and it should say Don't Download.

does it say that they are too big for vuze? or is the limit 4gb coincidentally? because that would mean that you need a different filesystem for the harddrive where you store the file. fat32 does only support a maximum of a file of 4gb in size.

My harddrive is only left with about 20Gb of 40Gb. Some of the files are more than 15Gb and a message will prompt to say that my storage is low and this slows down my pc.
For some files, I only need part of the files as I already have some of it.
My main question is how do I only download the files that I want and not the whole torrent.

Sometimes you can download a torrent and when you open the torrent a window comes up not sure if this does it with Vuze or not. It will say what files you want to download and you can check off what files you want and what files you don't. Try looking in the Preferences if it has an option that shows you the files when adding a torrent. uTorrent has this option.

Awesome, glad that you like uTorrent, I switched when Vuze had all those weird plug-ins and stuff felt like it was becoming more like bloated with other software I didn't need.
