I rented Silther and A American Haunting , I think I'll wacth Silther first. If u have not seen it I'll let ya know how it is.:D

Slither is amazing! I loved it. It's got everything a good B rated horror movie should have! Tons of one liners and gore to please all! Plus it has that guy who played Mel from Firefly/serenity in it as the town sheriff! I got this movie for my Brithday and it was the best gift yet!!

I watched that movie earlier, Totally jumped about 15 times and was completely grossed out! I need someone to cuddle with me to make my experience more enjoyable :(

LOL! nice! I wish horror movies could scare me like that.....

Problem is....I've been watching horror movies since I was 9. A nightmare on Elm street was my first dip into the pool. 22 years later and I've become use to the "jump" scenes and everything. I like the gorey (is that a word? :) ) scenes cause I like to figure out how they did it....plus it's just cool! :)

Well, My mom took me to see halloween 6 at the theaters when I was 6.. was my first scary movie. I remember my mouth being wide open the whole movie.. lol maybe thats why i can fit dick in it.. haha j/k but yea im freaked easy now.. it actually made me even more scared.. So someone to hold onto me is needed in scary movies and stuff lol, I get scared too easy, sometimes i freak out for nothing :(

I just totally envious of your right now!! (ww)

:-)

American haunting is good. Until you reach the end and you want to punch yourself in the face.

American Haunting had some good creepy scenes. Overall, though it was blah for me.....(The Descent, however, is one of the best horror movies to have come out in the past couple of years. THAT's a great thrill ride!!!)

Very intertaining, horror/comedy. It reminded of The Blob 1988 verson. I jumped a few times. Those Slugs..... Also when it was over we had a wind storm and the lights went out, I live alone in a apartment every time I heard something I was thinking about The Slugs.lol. But, the guy up stairs were walking around also, I did not have any candles or flashlight either. But,it was a awsome movie, I have 'nt seen that kind of horor/comedy in a long time. Also it remineded me of the 80's horror flick Night Of The Creeps. I am wacthing A America Haunting tonight.

Night of the Creeps.....I own the original on VHS....it and monster squad are the reasons why I still have a vcr!

Glad you liked Slither! can't wait for a sequel! :)

Monster Squad, I love that movie. Not too many people remember that one. You are truly a man of exquisite taste. ;)

Why thank you! :) I'm a big horror freak! I collect alot of horror movies and I own alot of gems! Though I prefer B-rated horror movies the best!

Some of my favourites are....

Attack of the killer Tomatoes
Night of the Lepus
Kingdom of the Spiders
ClownHouse (yeah I know the director was conviced but it's still a good movie!)
Slugs
Killer Klowns from Outer Space...I could go on and on! :D

slither is too gross for me and i just watched wolf creek which kind of scares me cos first it's real, second cos it's very violent and graphic and third that godamn killer still alive and kicking in south australia i mean how that happens !

Hey.
well I have to say im not a horror fan...I have seen Silent Hill creeped me out but there was someone with me watching it(late at night no lights on in the basement but still )... I am going to watch slither though, but with like 15 other folk. We are all firefly/serenity fans, and the main reason we watch is Nathan Fillion who played Mal in firefly/serenity. Heard it was really funny though. Apparently the extras and the commentary are hi-larious too. I hope it wont be too freaky...

I have seen shaun of the dead, and while its not proper horror(the end bit was quite freaky for me though), it was hilarious, people should check that out if they liked Slither(I think.... ).

Btw, the creator of Slither, James Gunn has a myspace account for that movie ... his blog entries are hi-larious, but quite vulgar so warning to those who might be easily offended. And apparently they have giveaways of free swag too.

I wanna see it but I was not wasting money seeing Slither in the movies. It looked way too computer generated and I hate when it looks like that. Now The American Haunting isnt scary but its a good story and its actually based on a true story. If they woulda added a lil more gore/thrill factor and gave it a R rating it woulda been really good.

Uh, you may want to skip it then since Slither is more of a campy B-movie on purpose. You seem like you'd take it too seriously.
