My last job I had to wake up at 4:15am! To be at work by 5:30am, thank god I did not live far from work, and thank god for coffee!! Now I go to work in the afternoon!

waking up early sucks.

sunrise is scheuled for 550am so no i wont be up unless i havent slept
I once had a winter term organic chem class that was only taught at 8am, which meant waking up at 7:30 int he dead of winter. After going ot about half of the classes I said fuck it and juts listened to the recorded lectures he posted on his website.
But in highschool, I don't know how I ever did it, waking up at 7am every morning...blech. And when I was on swim team int he winter, we would have morning practice every MWF. So I'd have to get up at 5:30 and get driven to school (bless my dad) and sit there in the car until the janitor finally drove up to open the school. It sucked eggs.

I often wake up before my alarm goes off--just my body clock that works too well.
But occasionally (like this morning), I get woken up by my roommate bringing home his latest fuck buddy (girl). Ugh. And depending on the girl, I can here them going at it. Yuk!

I don't know how you do it. I'm lucky to drag my ass out of bed by 7:00.
A morning person I am not. And I'm not pleasant in the morning, either. Anyone who is around me in the morning knows just to stay out of my way and not even talk to me.

If I wanna slep late I always sleep with a noise generator set at the sound of rain. It blocks out the noise and lulls me to sleep. Or you could just use a fan to drown out any outside noise..

I've never liked getting up early. My mom had to yell at me several times to get up and get ready for school when I was young. I've always preferred the afternoon shift. 3-11:30 pm.

I would get up at the crack of noon every day if I could. As it is I have to be at work at 9 am but it could be worse...my mother just retired after having years of starting work at 7:15 a.m. and getting up before six.
Getting up in the dark makes the lowest point of the day even lower.
Sunrises are just depressing compared to sunsets. Matt Dillon pointed out that seeing sunrise means you either had to get up ridiculously early or you've been out all night and are overdue to sleep. Hell either way.

It's OK if you wake up early and see that you've still got an hour or so before you need to get up.. even better if it's a Saturday when you're not working and you realize you don't have to get up at all if you don't want to.. great!!
