I just saw this with my bf tonite on DVD.. its really moving and educational... has anyone here that's seen it like to share your views on it?

I'm glad i'm NOT alone. Wal-Mart is an evil corporation.

Well, bro, like so much these past 15 years or so, people are doing what they were programmed to do. Understand that, you understand a lot.
You have to deal with/feel with Reality. Deal with Reality. That was a Bill Clinton motto and the period of his presidency was a LOT more successful than this one.

The Wal Mart Army operates according to very simple rules, as you no doubt know by now.
What happens when you drive a car and only drive according to "simple" rules? Well, it might run off the road, for one possibility.

I shop where I can afford to shop. When other companies start being as affordable as Wal-Mart, I will gladly spend my money at those places. It's easy to dismiss Wal-Mart as "evil people" when you're not forced to shop there by financial constraints.

Wal-Mart has really taken a complete view at efficiency. Using a pull model instead of push...brilliant. But they also looked very hard at the little things--the carousel at the checkouts with the various bags, so the cashier can easily use different sized bags as needed. It's little stuff like that that makes so much sense.

Sure, there have been abuses, such as forcing employees to work even when clocked out, or not paying for health care for its employees. These definitely need to be dealt with.

Efficient? All the times I have gone to a Wal-Mart, out of the 50 or so checkout lanes they have, only about 15 are staffed and lines upon lines of people with carts completely full and a long wait time are common.
I think them one of the most inefficient places to possibly shop. They can fork out enough money to get people working in all those lanes.

Wal-Mart is the cancer killing America.

You mean miserably poor people need even more miserably poor people in order to afford a living...

There is only one satisfaction I could ever get from walmart .....seeing them have to close their fucking doors.
