Whether we did or didn't against every accusation spewed, the fact remains that there is a continuous line of nations going back to the beginning of "civilization" behaving similarly.

Imagining wars have only been fought defensively or nobly is a foolish vainglorious notion of how nations behave.

The U.S. history is recent enough to have been observed and viewed by more objective historians. Those from centuries past have mostly been squelched by the victors.

No one here imagines America to be pristine or unstained.

How about your origins, Telly? How have your ancestors lived peacefully without political machinations of clan or state.? Tell us about it.

The military industrial complex is the biggest corporation in the world. That's why you hear republicans scream and bedwet at any mention of cutting defense budgets despite the fact that this country spends more on defense than the next 9 nations combined. i am of the neomalthusian view. almost all, if not all, fights and wars are over scarcity of "things". currency was made as the standin for "things". so any war over, oil, land rights, gold, trade agreements, etc. is over money.

Sadly, that is too grandiose, as the public doesn't need any distraction -- it is simply too apathetic to seriously advocate for change. The invasion of Iraq proved that a decade ago.

Corny's attempts to divert the argument based on classical Greek oratory and logic is a reasoning that would probably stand up in the rarefied arena of strict debate, but falls woefully short in light of the truth of Telly's ongoing attacks on America, and Corny's less obvious but just as persistent campaign.

At some point the truth simply trumps style or technique.

Suggesting that the videos from the site are not Anti-American when they actively advocate for revolution is dishonest. Although Borg playfully suggested that Telly might draw NSA attention, the website that is an obvious and calculated broad-spectrum propaganda site, attempting to ignite revolution in a neo-socialist style, by an anonymous source, will indeed be an irresistible magnet to the anti-terrorist eyes in the government.

The opening comment in your video commenting that "Iran has not invaded another country since 1798" is a very telling detail. That Americans widely believe that the hawks are too eager to contrive a reason for conflict is one thing, but to suggest on the other hand that somehow Iran has been benignly dwelling within its borders without exporting revolution is both factually a lie and intellectually as warped as the supposed intrigue that the author (and Telly) allege against America.

And, as the narrator (and supposedly the author) of the videos is not known, his American accent is NOT equal to him being an American, even though it may be possible. It is equally possible that he has an American accent from having been schooled here. In any event, his anonymity is very telling about his cause. To suggest that his anonymous position is needed in order for him to advocate for merely political change is dark indeed. It is clear that his propaganda champions a more sweeping "revolution."

Either Telly is as stupid and easily influenced as the propagandist hopes all Youtube viewers will be, or as dissembling and subversive and many JUBBERs have commented openly that they suspect.

On the other hand, Corny just continues to chip away in a less obvious strain of Anti-Americanism that only rarely becomes blurred with Canadian hack jobs. His presence here to champion a notorious troll in HT is more evidence that anyone needs to see what is at play.
