And there are videos explaining how Brits exploit the pound and money markets, and so on.
Whether we did or didn't against every accusation spewed, the fact remains that there is a continuous line of nations going back to the beginning of "civilization" behaving similarly.
Imagining wars have only been fought defensively or nobly is a foolish vainglorious notion of how nations behave.
The U.S. history is recent enough to have been observed and viewed by more objective historians. Those from centuries past have mostly been squelched by the victors.
No one here imagines America to be pristine or unstained.
How about your origins, Telly? How have your ancestors lived peacefully without political machinations of clan or state.? Tell us about it.
1) We invaded Iraq in 1990s because they invaded Kuwait and because they gave us the middle finger in the Iraq-Iranian war ( A war in which every European Nation included profited on arms sales).
2) The Euro standard would not lead to an increase of 15% profit. That is asinine.
3) The Dollar like the Euro like the Rembei like the Ruble is sustained through a collective pulse of stock market, exported goods ( Food), and imported and processed buying power. That being said the dollar is a good currency for millions of reasons primarily because of the fact that the US does have so much gold and because it is historically stable as opposed to lets say the Euro which is fundamentally much more unstable.
4) The video is a giant libertarian mess that attempts to glide over the historical evidence and events that support their notion that the US is entirely a system bent on military-industrial complex. Further gold is fundamentally no more interesting or useful as a currency than the dollar, it outside of its ability to be used as a conducter and shiny is worthless.
5) The Boogyman.
"And you are lynching negroes"Now, be an honest lad and tell us your own nationality, or shut up about our nation.
There is no blame involved here, and your video is irrelevant.
You're thread is obsessed with America and our tawdry history. I'm asking you about your ancestry and your presumably pristine history since you never mention it. Now, be an honest lad and tell us your own nationality, or shut up about our nation.
Are we having trouble sticking the dollar argument, or is this just a random-attacks-on-American-hegemony thread?
He has every right to question the NSA, and America. And I have every right to point out the obvious bias and anti-American tilt of his posts. To be sure, my point is clearly that it is the singling out of American atrocities that SHOULD be questioned, as it is quite relevant the context of what other countries do and what the OP remains silent about.
And you have the right to opine about legitimate and fallacious debating techniques, and I have the joy of rebutting you as we aren't bound to follow your or anyone else's concept of rules of engagement so long as we aren't in violation of JUBs rules.
I'm pleased to tell you that it may be fallacious to your logic, but that really doesn't matter when I post.
And Telly, whatever do you mean? You post baiting threads all the time, and then act astonished when someone takes the bait. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
The thread has everything to do with you, as you are the OP/instigator, so your intent and bias are probably MORE relevant than the borrowed video.
The collection of videos from your anonymous source reveal that the creator is actively trying to promote an actual revolution in the United States. The intent is not merely to be interesting or engender a new debate on anything. There is an clear and coherent attempt to string together conspiracy theory, claiming the media is a puppet to keep the populace distracted from real change.

Sadly, that is too grandiose, as the public doesn't need any distraction -- it is simply too apathetic to seriously advocate for change. The invasion of Iraq proved that a decade ago.
Corny's attempts to divert the argument based on classical Greek oratory and logic is a reasoning that would probably stand up in the rarefied arena of strict debate, but falls woefully short in light of the truth of Telly's ongoing attacks on America, and Corny's less obvious but just as persistent campaign.
At some point the truth simply trumps style or technique.
Suggesting that the videos from the site are not Anti-American when they actively advocate for revolution is dishonest. Although Borg playfully suggested that Telly might draw NSA attention, the website that is an obvious and calculated broad-spectrum propaganda site, attempting to ignite revolution in a neo-socialist style, by an anonymous source, will indeed be an irresistible magnet to the anti-terrorist eyes in the government.
The opening comment in your video commenting that "Iran has not invaded another country since 1798" is a very telling detail. That Americans widely believe that the hawks are too eager to contrive a reason for conflict is one thing, but to suggest on the other hand that somehow Iran has been benignly dwelling within its borders without exporting revolution is both factually a lie and intellectually as warped as the supposed intrigue that the author (and Telly) allege against America.
And, as the narrator (and supposedly the author) of the videos is not known, his American accent is NOT equal to him being an American, even though it may be possible. It is equally possible that he has an American accent from having been schooled here. In any event, his anonymity is very telling about his cause. To suggest that his anonymous position is needed in order for him to advocate for merely political change is dark indeed. It is clear that his propaganda champions a more sweeping "revolution."
Either Telly is as stupid and easily influenced as the propagandist hopes all Youtube viewers will be, or as dissembling and subversive and many JUBBERs have commented openly that they suspect.
On the other hand, Corny just continues to chip away in a less obvious strain of Anti-Americanism that only rarely becomes blurred with Canadian hack jobs. His presence here to champion a notorious troll in HT is more evidence that anyone needs to see what is at play.
I use my mind and think for myself .....

You are like your own republicans. Anybody who is only somewhat against them is a communist. Anybody that criticizes aspects of your america is anti-american.
