Was I born gay?

i hate it when i hear gay activists say people are born gay or that it's genetic just as much as i hate it when i hear christians say it's a choice or it's environmental. the truth is no one knows what causes homosexuality. we only have ideas/hypotheses. some people are less interested in the truth than in what is politically expedient.

There are a lot of things in life that aren't apparent and take a long time to figure out. But there's little to be gained in situations like this by pondering the "why" and "what if".
