Okay, I am going to take a giant leap and agree to host a JUB meet in Washington, DC......

Friday, October 20 will be "Club and Tour night" for those that want to arrive early.

Saturday, October 21, we'll get together for a meet-and-greet...not sure where yet. We'll have dinner and then go out clubbing -- probably Chaos or Cobalt; we'll see what else is open.

Sunday, October 22 will be meet at the pool party at my place. Pool and hot tub but we'll have to keep the clothes on during the daylight...now Friday night may have been something different!

If anyone wants to come in early, I'll be available for taking people around on tours.....I'm also talking to two nearby hotels to see if I can get a good rate; I've used them for meetings so hopefully I can get a better price! (Hampton Inn or Red Roof Inn that was just completely renovated)....

So if you are interested, let me know! I'll post more details....

Good timing Wiz!! I MIGHT be back in town that weekend. I have vacation and then and flights from LAX to IAD are looking pretty damn cheap. Plus I have a friend I can stay with in Dupont! So that makes transportation easy. Keep me updated and I'll see what it looks like.
 
ok i need to amend what i said earlier... checked my school schedule and what classes i *could* miss, and the ones that i'd be missing to come to the meet in october i *can't* miss without serious repurcussions...so i can't come:(

Hopefully I will be back living in the area by then, so count me in. If not, sounds like a reason for a roadtrip.
 
Well, I will definately be attending. Just finishing the arrangements for my move back to the DC are for the middle of September. Can not wait for the JUB Meet. I am sure it will be as much fun as we had in Dallas.
 
I cannot confirm nor deny the possibility of me coming to Washington in October.Only my publicist Dynk knows for sure!;)
 
I don't really post much but I lurk quite a bit heh. I go to American Univ. in D.C.....so if I'm not swamped with homework I wouldn't mind meeting a few new people =).

Thought I'd better get off my arse and put the final details together this weekend. I'll be confirming with everyone whether you are coming and your shirt size...guess I need to let JUB know.......

I'll post more this weekend. I was talking to a friend of mine that works at Jury's Hotel about where he would eat....I laughed when he said "not here!" So Friday night perhaps we'll check out Apex.....Friday night Cobalt unless anyone wants the drag show at Chaos....I'm sure Mani would "honor" Jubbers (but I will not have sex with him for any special treatments!)

You can save me a lot of work by pm'ing me with your shirt size, name (I know who SOME of you are)....ha...ha...
 
Okay guys...I'm trying to finalize things.....

Friday night is kind of an open night but we can all meet at Chaos for a drink and then either stay there, go to Apex or to Cobalt....I'm open for any of the above. I chose Chaos only because I know some of the folks there. We don't have to stay because it is a drag show and I've seen plenty of them there! They also have some food so you can munch.

On Saturday, we'll meet at 4 p.m. at Logan's Tavern which is on P Street by Halo (across from the Whole Foods Market between 14 and 15). We can have drinks, we can eat, we can talk, we can do whatever. Afterwards we can meet and go out at Cobalt or if anyone wants "Liquid Ladies" we can hit Apex! For those of you visiting...if you want to go to a bathhouse, it is around the corner on 14th called "Crew Club!"

On Sunday you are invited to my house on Massachusetts Ave. downtown. There's a pool and hottub...bring your own drinks and I'll have some hot dogs and munchies. Feel free to bring a friend...just let me know as I'll have to give you my phone number and get you in the elevator to the roof. You can change in my apartment. Let's say 2:30 p.m. for the pool. It should be warm; the heater is on.....

I'll be e-mailing those that I've heard from: Judas 731, Caeth, rickbiwdc, dynk, xyzguy, dccamuck, Amuscleboy8200, and Sausageater; epicAdam, jockboy01, Chance 1826...need to know if you're coming. Feel free to let any other JUBBer's know!

I do need shirt sizes so I can let them know (I think they still give shirts out). Let me know ASAP).

Tom, do you have a dinner for after the meet set up? Some of us do not drink or go into gay bars, and it would be nice to eat before hitting the bars later. SE and I are both flying back home sunday morning as we have to be here for monday.
