Washington DC in October

Actually, Logan's is a restaurant but has the ability to have a drink if one chooses. They have good food; if you like Mexican, that is right next door as well. I think there are three restaurants right together and Halo, a gay bar, sits in between.

The Saturday gathering will be drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) and people can order from the menu and eat if they choose; not if they choose. I think for those that may not be quite out, it is in a pretty ecclectic area (of course with JUB shirts it might be somewhat of a giveaway).

So Friday at Chaos we can eat (they actually have a restaurant license although most of their business is the bar and dance club). We could also do Annie's Steakhouse which is next door .... and then hit the other clubs in the area on Friday.

On Saturday it is just casual and is the main day for those interested. If I were having to choose one...go for Saturday. Friday is just casual; Sunday is casual.

I was trying to make sure there was food and non-alcoholic service since we may have some 18-20 year olds! I know after 9 or 10 you can't get into Chaos if you are under 21. That's why Friday night I figured we could do Apex or something similar for those that are under 21 (the only club I think that they can get into if they are not 21).

thewiz, once you get times and places finalize, let me know. Want to make sure I don't miss any of the fun this weekend

Friday night....Chaos....10 p.m. and we'll be at the table just to the back of the dance floor on the right......if you need help, ask for Mani the bartender...he's got a goatee and is always at the left side of the bar as you walk in!

Saturday we meet at Logans and then can eat.....we'll re-form at Cobalt at 10:30....

Well dccanuck, Sausage and I were both looking forward to meeting you.

Tom, Sausgeeater and I were the only ones who showed up. Another JUBber named RickDc? (I think), came by and said hello and could not stay.

I had a wonderful week anyways in Washington, have not been in many years.

We did have fun,and I truly enjoyed being with Dynk and seeing Tom.Dynk was loads of fun, just watching him post was a blast. He's even better in person than on the boards!

Tom was quite nice,a very good host.We all had a great dinner together on Thursday, and the food for three...well,four counting Tom's friend Rico, was very good.Too bad that we were basically the meet, but I still enjoyed the time I spent there.

Tom showed us around the area on Thursday night, including a visit to the wonderful, quietly majestic Roosevelt Memorial, which was an awesome experience. We passed the old Executive Office Building, beautifully designed building,Ford's Theater...and the Canadian Embassy, one of the most modern and outstandingly designed embassy buildings, which includes a magnificent echo resonating chamber that has to be experienced, the acoustics are astounding!

I'll add a couple of more places and personal observations soon, but mine are a bit more limited as Dynk had a two day head start on enjoying Washington,as he arrived Tuesday to my Thursday.

that echo chamber had to be one of the coolest and weirdest things i'd experienced when i visited:-)

amazing what some minds think up, eh?

i'm sorry i was unable to attend this time, but come hell or high water i'll make it to the next!

I had a great time....we also missed xyz at Chaos on Friday night before we headed to Apex. But it was fun seeing everyone; perhaps Flip and I will find ourselves out this week as well!

Hey Dynk and Sausage..you forgot all about me

I met you guys that Friday night infront of Club Chaos then we headed out for a much smaller bar. Unfortunately, both of you couldn't make it to APEX so me and Tom went there ourselves. You guys surely missed a great night at APEX with tons of dancing, grinding, and plenty of eye candies to see :gogirl:
That damned fried chicken Dynk had at Chaos...I guess when you promote yourself as having the best fried chicken in Dupont Circle, that doesn't say much for chicken at the restaurants of Dupont Circle! Yes,I remember you,RJ I believe?Glad you guys had fun,and I'm sure the party would have been worth it...just wasn't sure how sick Dynk was going to be,wanted to make sure he was okay....besides,I would have probably lost you on the dance floor!Damn next time hope to enjoy, the dancing and grinding as well. You were really nice and I am so!oops! I forgot to mention you.Dynk and I did have one great experience at JR's...we were by the left hand side of the front near the doors, and while a gassy Dynk was sitting down and I was standing against the wall watching the scene,a club staff member, average height, dark shorthair, buff and toned with an incredible ass walks to the ladder by the wall and goes up to make repairs. He was gorgeous and as he climbed the ladder,we lovingly gazed at that perfect ass we were getting a great close up of.Dynk was so close if he wasn't feeling like crap,he would have grabbed that ass and got a great feel.Damn that fried chicken!:grrr:

As I remember....Dynk grabbed that ass with his eyes at least!

LOL
