Wassail the pudding!!!

The ingredients for the Christmas pud are measured and ready, now for the making!! .....

I know I should've done this weeks ago to let it 'mature' in time for the Christmas Day devouring. Will still be yummy though.

Here's the recipe I use for anyone who's interested. It's super rich and tasty, even though it's not your traditional pud that's wrapped in cheesecloth and gets hung up till Christmas Day ... Ozguy's Christmas Pud

OMMMMMMMMG. Do I see rum-soaked nuts and fruit?!

Mine are soaked in brandy. The pudding is simmering away on the stove now and it smells divine!!!!

I used to often make the pudding when I was younger and living with the rents.

I would make it at on my bday (October) and it would hang until christmas. Yum yum yum. I was going to make one this year but my grandmother made it instead.

Amazing chickens you Brits and Aussies have. Our chickens just make boring ol' plain white eggs.

And here it is!! Late Christmas afternoon here and most of the household is snoozing. The pudding was delicious. Fortunately, I wasn't too drunk when this pic was taken ....
