Sam, I do not like reading either. Neil has encourage me to just do what I can at my own pace. He is right. You will speed up as you go, I have. Neil is a nice guy and his stories show that with his passion. Read what you can when you can and you will get there. These are great chapters.

Wow!!! Great story. Was a little hungover on Friday morning, and just felt reading a good story. Started reading yours...for about 8 hours. Left for the weekend, and then started reading again when I got back. Love the story line.

Quick question...just trying to picture Brad in my mind. Not too sure what kind of hair style you are talking about. To the best of my recollection, you say short on top and long on the sides. Right now, I am imagining a white trash mullet. ha ha. Could you provide a pic of what you are talking about? Hope you are feeling better.

Hi, everyone

I really must apologize. Believe me, I haven't abandoned you. Over the last few weeks, my lifestyle has suffered a complete turn-around and I am dealing with things I've never really had to deal with before.

The smoking thing is virtually finished. I haven't started again, and haven't had so much as a puff. However, I really started putting on the beef again and I've spent most of my time trying to concentrated on not eating. I think I have a handle on it now and am getting back eating more normally. I'm glad I lost a lot of weight before I quit smoking or I'd be a blimp by now. As it is, I've put over 5 kilos back on (after spending several months losing 15 kilos).

So, I was really feeling like crap and couldn't concentrate on anything except wondering what was in the refrigerator. I'm hoping that's behind me now.

I promise that you'll get more of Brad et al. Believe me, I'm working on it.

Hi Neil,
I hope you are feeling better. Trying to give up smokes and loose weight at the same time is more thanI would attermpt. When I gave the smokes up in 1975 it was on a bet with my partner. We were leaving on a trip to Carolina to visit friends and then on to my nices wedding in Indiana and then home. I think it was three weeks long 'and the wonder was I had no problem. Gained about 30 lbs. which has fallen in love with me and refuses to leave me. After all this time I quit trying to loose it. Seeing as I am still walking and breathing I have given up and use it to keep me warm if not loveable.
I am going to start reading "watching" from the start for I have pretty well forgoten what is going on and who is who. I am a rather slow reader so you have plenty of time to get out the next chapter as far as I am concerned.
Good luck with your give ups and don't do anything that stops you from enjoying your life.
