Watching Brad

Great chapter, Neil. I don't know what I'm going to do for two weeks after Wednesday's chapter as I will be away for two weeks. I guess I'll have a lot reading to do when I get back. I'm glad the twins are safe and sound again with Ted and Brad. What's next, the wedding? Vic(*8*) :=D:

Beautiful chapter, Neil. Thank you.
Can we please have a break from the cliffhangers over the festive season ?!!!
Wishing you a Very Happy Christmas
Peace & Love
Harry

Yes, you can have a break from the cliffhangers. In fact, you may be taking a break from the story entirely. With Christmas only one week away, I think we all deserve a bit of a break.

But, I'll leave it up to you guys. I'll continue writing if you really want me to, but, until after New Year, I may spread the chapters out a bit more.

Let me know.

Neil...I feel like such a blubbering sook, but you appear to have the talent to rip the heart clean out of my chest! What a powerful story...riding a roller coaster of emotion. I'm so glad the twins are okay....and that Ted didn't yell at Barry again.
Thank you Neil for continuing to share this fantastic story.

Neil, I am an emotional wreck. But thank you for the beautiful gift you have given us all. If you need a break for the holidays, please take it. You truly deserve it. But if you wish to keep writing you know that we will all be here to find out what happens next.
Have a most joyful holiday season and Thank You from the bottom of my heart.:=D: (*8*)

You do what fits your holiday schedule! Yes, I will still read if you keep posting chapters, but maybe you need a break yourself!

Like others have said, I shed a few tears reading this latest saga of events, and I'm so glad everything ended on a positve note. When you are ready, I'll be ready for the next chapter. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas, Neil! (*8*)

A very Merry Christmas to you Neil, with many "thank you's" for an excitingly readable, true to life, and utterly believable story. This great saga has poured unstintingly from you for many week now, and you certainly deserve a break. I don't wish you to feel that we, your devoted readers wish to squeeze blood from a stone by demanding MORE, MORE, MORE; but I'm equally sure that we all sense that there further revelations yet to come lodged deep in the recesses of your creative mind. Perhaps this tale does need to end on a high note, but surely this mixture of lively charactures in that case would warrant a sequel? For how could they possibly live hum drum lives thereafter!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THE HAPPIEST ON NEW YEARS NEIL.
Take as long as you like between Chapters for the holidays. One request though is for you to make sure Brad is firmly housed with Ted and the twins. Ole Sheep is sitting on the sidelines waiting to drag Brad off to the islands or some other hiding place and if he gets a chance we my never see or hear from either for the rest of the story. With the wedding coming up we don't want to mislay Brad.
I hope you all have a great Holiday.
George

Merry Christmas to all of you and to Neil our wonderful writer. Thank you Neil for keeping glued to this story.
Have a Happy New Year!

Important Update Notice

If you visit the Hot Topics forum, you are probably aware that I came down with a dose of the flu early yesterday morning. I spent most of the day in bed and sitting in the 'little boy's room'. I'm feeling a bit better this morning, but it's most certainly more than a 24-hour bug.

I'll try to get the next chapter online either Friday or Saturday, and then I believe I'll take that break until after the New Year.

Don't worry. There won't be any nasty cliffhanger to keep you worried over the holidays.

Sorry about the delay, but thanks for understanding.

Take care, always.
Neil

Take care of yoursel, Neil, we can't have you getting too sick to continue with the story. I'm glad, for my sake, that you plant to stop until after New Years because then I won't have a lot of reading to do when I come back from my Holiday trip. Keep writing and get well sool. Best wishes for Christmas and have a very Happy New Year. Vic.

Dear Neil, your health is most important. Just concentrate on getting better.
You have wowed us all with this story, it would be a shame to end it abruptly.
Take your time to get better & have a good holiday & New Year
Perhaps move forward, say, to the wedding, and possibly give us "Snapshots" of times as the boys grow up rather than a continuous storyline .... just my suggestion!
Peace & Love
Harry

Everybody needs to take a break Neil and you deserve one. Christmas is near and everybody would be busy with something else eventhough at the back of their/our minds, we're still waiting for the next chapters to emerge.

Yet, of all the things you've written for us untiringly, you deserve a Break more than we do...perhaps after new year, new chapters will keep us hook with these story once more.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you Neil and to all my fellow Jubbers out there.

Get well soon, though Neil!

Your friend,

I hope your recovery is swift! Take all the time you need you deserve a break. We will be here when you return. Force fluids if you can tolerate them.

I hope this will help to lift your spirits: You now have a "Neil" fan club of three. We meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at a coffee shop before work to read the latest installment.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Please take care of yourself. We can wait for you to recover. Thank you Neil.

Neil,
Hope your drive of the porcelain bus is a short one and your Christmas is a happy one. Like the others said I can wait for Brad and whats his name.:p

Thank you for your well-wishes. I certainly appreciate them very much.

Unfortunately, if you've read my update in Hot Topics http://www.justusboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133361 you'll see that I haven't been doing much lately except parking myself in bed. I haven't been able to sit at the computer for more than a few minutes at a time and haven't even opened WordPerfect since Monday. I haven't written a single word in 4 days.

Don't worry. I'm not burning out on Watching Brad. I hope to continue it for quite some time.

Just a little side note for everyone, including Neil, a while back, around part 122, I copied all of the chapters and set about putting them together into a book form as a surprise to send to Neil, but when I copied them all into Word, at that time the first 122 chapters took up 352 pages! I was shocked

I'm a bit shocked, too! Maybe I should have used a smaller font.

As you know, the story is running in 'real time', or at least in the near past. I have the story planned pretty-much up to the end of the year in their time, but, eventually, they will catch up to us in our own time. After that, I had planned on doing regular updates, but keeping it in real time. Now, Ted's dreams during his breakdown gave you a glimpse of the twins in their teens. I don't think the story will last as long as that, at least in real time.

So, I pose this to you: Do you want me to continue in real time or do you want me to go into the future and show the kids growing up?

Again, thank you for all your comments and your well-wishes. I feel that I've failed you in some way. I've decided not to push myself and to withhold this latest update until the New Year. It will give me time to recover completely and to get a few chapters ahead (if I'm lucky). It will also give me time to refine the wedding and the honeymoon without rushing it.

And so, whatever holiday you celebrate, and however you celebrate it, I hope it is a happy and enjoyable time for all.

Take care, always.
Neil
