Here's a NASA photo of the storm headed up our way. The local weatherman just said to prepare ourselves for a frickin' FOOT of snow.

The storm is so powerful it has an EYE!!

Supposed to go up to Mount Pocono to move stuff out of the summer house (we sold it) into storage until the spring.

Literally, I do not understand why people get so excited over snow... why celebrate a physical manifestation of cold. It's pretty for about 5 minutes, then you realize nothing is working, there's a mob of fools who can't remember the time it snowed two months ago and everything was fine mobbing the supermarket, it's all about to melt into a hideous muddy swamp which lasts for days.

-4 degrees celcius here. My car doors was frozen shut. I nearly pulled the handle off trying to open it. Then when I had the heating fan on, we were going uphill and the door warning signal came on...

I laughed outloud when Obama gave his press conference today in Copehagen where they're having the world climate convention to discuss global warming, and he said he wouldn't be able to stick around for the final vote because he had to get back to Washington tonight to avoid the bad weather...
