This little black cat showed up at our front porch about a month ago or so.
We started feeding her and tried to find out where she came from. We didn't want to take in someone else's cat again. We eventually found out the cat belonged to a family that recently lost their house to foreclosure down the street. They left the cat behind. So, this time definitely a stray. She actually looked really rough.
Well, turned out she was pregnant. So, we started working on earning her trust and all. She finally let us hold her. Eventually she came inside.

Her tummy has gotten a lot bigger. And she's eating a lot. We have set up an area in the extra room for her. Fenced off so the dogs can't get to her.
The plan is to adopt out the kittens and have her spayed.
She's actually very affectionate nowadays. She slept on my lap last night while I was watching tv.
