Does anyone else prefer perfumes to colognes?

I bought some Lemon Vanilla body spray from Bath & Body Works and I absolutely love it. I totally smell edible. My friends thought it was weird that I went in there, but who gives a fuck.

Colognes really only come in 4-5 scents and are often suited for older men. Personally, I'd rather smell like a delicious cake than a "rapid forest" or "artic lightining", whatever those smell like.

Sounds good to me.

The thought has never crossed my mind personally, but it sounds like it would be sexy if the right perfume is worn.

If you think you smell good then I say wear it! I personally like the smell of vanilla and think I smell good when I wear something vanilla scented but it's something typically worn by girls. But whatever! I think I smell good so I'm gonna wear it! ;)

i don't even wear colognes, so why should i wear perfume ;)

Perfume just means its made with real oil. Colognes are cheaper and dont last as long.

Why not? If you like it and it's not overpowering, go for it.

I bought a Black Raspberry Vanilla perfume from B&BW and it ended up being way too sweet so I ended up giving it to my mom.

I do you use sweet body washes though.

My friend bought the lotion version of Black Raspberry Vanilla and I almost used the whole thing up!

I just got back into fragrances. I used to hate them, but now I'm finding them fun to try out.

I should consult someone at the cosmetics counter of a department store and inquire about the perfume. Someone could probably provide me with a sample. :)
I agree. You should do this for, uh, science. I mean: FOR SCIENCE!

Yes they would indeed. Just tell them you want to sample some before buying it for your "girlfriend.";)

Potatoe, patato.... Its all symantecs, and really just a label...

Its all Fragrance. find a smell you like and wear it, and forget about what the label says.

I'm highly allergic to most, but there's a atore called L'Occitane that I'm ok with most of them. They're non gender specific and they smell different on different people. I have one that on me is honey, vanilla and cinnamon but on other people smells like detergent...

I never have but would be open to the possibility. It would have to be something incredibly regal and not overly feminine. I've often wondered what Chanel No. 5 smells like.

For all its mystique, longevity and legendary status, I've never particularly liked Chanel No 5.

In answer to the OP, never had the urge to wear perfume.

At the moment, I am using Polo Ralph Lauren "Red White Blue" but I am thinking of switching to the one my avatar is advertising - Bleu de Chanel.

I don't use much but my bf likes Hermes eau d'Orange Verte.

I still have my bottle of Ralph Lauren Polo I bought in the 80's, I think!

No, but nothing wrong with a girly-boy. People should be able to do whatevr the fuck they want as long as it doesn't hurt other people.

Charles Jourdan The Parfum I think is one of the sexiest female scents. It's got a warm, sweet, & sexy coffee note but it's not overpowering. I wear it religiously. No one can tell that it's a female perfume and guys love it. Going out for the night, I've had many of my male friends go through all of my colognes and end up picking out charles jourdan not knowing they are wearing a woman's fragrance.

Alot of the men scents smell the same and I usually go for the sweet scents anyway cause they work best on me. Blue Sugar for men is another one for me that is a instant favorite.
