Wearing shorts in the winter...WTF?

Being that I live in Florida I wear shorts all year round. Up until today it was in the mid to upper 80's.

No, I hardly ever wear shorts and certainly not in the winter. I have seen guys wearing shorts in the winter. I guess that as long as you are dressed warm elsewhere it is survivable. I understand from women that pantyhose help keep your legs somewhat warmer and are better than not wearing them.

Well, today it turned as cold as a witch's tit, so why anyone would want to wear shorts outside is beyond me.

I almost always wear shorts now unless I want to dress up. Being disabled it is hard to put on pants and shorts are usually easier when it comes to a few things.

With legs like mine I daren't ever wear shorts in public; I simply refuse to be responsible for inciting feelings of uncontrollable lust in those poor, unfortunate, feeble-minded, souls who might chance to gaze upon such utter perfection. :help:

I wear shorts all day in side here in Michigan. If I am just taking out the garbage or some other quick job out side I might put on a coat and hat but I still wear shorts. I have seen my neighbor taking out his trash just wearing underwear.

Think of all the money you could save on heating your joint if you wore more clothing. I set my thermostat at 70°, but I can't imagine being half-naked even at that temp. I still wear thermal underwear when I'm inside.

This.

We set out temp at 68 and wear enough clothing to be warm.

If I didn't have windows that I like to see out of I would just have underwear on all day. I keep our thermostat a hair hair above 70 degrees in the winter. I find that a humidifier makes a home feel much warmer.

I wear shorts in the winter, but I live in Florida, where the temperature is often in the 80s even at this time of year. But I am very cold sensitive, and I refuse to wear shorts if the temp drops below 70.

The only way you can see in during the day is if the light is as bright or brighter inside than outside unless you're standing right in front of the window.

No shorts in winter for me. A few years ago I remember being in Asbury Park, NJ, and saw guys working on repairing the boardwalk, middle of winter,
SNOWING, they hard on heavy hoodies, work boots and winter socks..with SHORTS Go figure.

I wear briefs with boxers over them year round in the apartment. Like TickTock, it is too difficult for my to put on pants, especially when I have no feeling in my feet whatsoever. I put on pants only when I'm going out. If I'm stepping out the door for only a minute or so for whatever reason, I do so in my shorts. I'm not out there long enough to get cold.

Do what you want in the privacy of your own home. It’s on the person outside of your house to mind their own business and not look inside.

/\ Okay, sure, but last I heard, he lives in a mobile home community where often the buildings are lined up with windows directly across from each other and just a few feet away.

meh.

If they want to stare, let 'em.

Of course here on the farm out nearest neighbours are literally 700 metres away...and on the other side of the copse.

We just don't walk around naked because it would scare the cats.

Although I am sitting here in some nice boxer briefs after a day in the office and quite comfortable at 68c.
