does anyone know whats the best browser for windows 8 I know that firefox and chrome
have a lot of crap ware built in to them just would like a browser that works well and doesn't
bog down the OS.:help:

I use FF and it runs fine. Long as you don't have a million plug ins you should be fine.

I have tried most of them and keep comming back to Firefox. It is quick and as Stoffe said, if you don't load it down with plug ins it works great. A close second for me is Opera, Chrome third, and Explorer a distant fourth.

Firefox. No contest. As others have stated, just don't load it down with plug-ins. IMO, it's the most stable web browser on the planet right now.

Both Firefox and Chrome are the two I use all the time. Not sure what you mean about crap ware added to it.

Firefox and Chrome are the best in my opinion - though I am using Windows 7 and Linux Mint. Personally, I prefer Firefox over Chrome because it doesn't request your passwords or track your data unlike Chrome. Also, if you're a tab whore like I am, it can better withstand the "weight" of them versus chrome and other browsers, IMHO

I am a big fan of Opera or safari. I have no idea how either runs in windows 8.

Opera runs beautifully in Windows 8.

I personally use IE. The way tabs can be grouped (based on which websites you open new tabs from by middle-clicking links) are great. It's also nice when the tabs stay the same size when closing them, as I middle-click tabs to close them and many times I need to close an entire group when I have a bunch already open. I just keep the mouse in one spot and click-click-click and they go away.

I keep far, far away from Safari. I'm not a big fan of Apple. iTunes doesn't run too great on Windows, so I don't imagine Safari is much better. Safari, Chrome, (and Opera will soon) use the same rendering engine (Webkit) - I think - so I don't see much reason to install Safari.
