Jenny Sanford. I find it amazing that she has not spoken out in the light of Mark Sanford's stupidity. Sanford was the one who called so strongly for Clinton's resignation after the "sex in the white house" revelations. Yet, when the SC governor committed adultery with an Argentinian woman and disappeared for 5 days (causing panic in the state), Sanford begged for forgiveness and refused to resign. Can't wait to hear what Jenny has to say to Babs.

As for the rest, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Adam Lambert have all been in the news a lot lately, but I don't find them particularly fascinating.

I'm surprised Susan Boyle wasn't included in that list.

Boy, what a tabloid/Fox driven list. Kate Gosselin? Are you kidding me? Palin, regardless of her politics, is not fascinating because she has nothing intelligent to say. Quitting her job as governor and writing a book is barely interesting much less fascinating. Jenny Sanford is interesting but only in the way a traffic accident is. Its a tragedy what she went through but rather commonplace and not at all fascinating. MJ's kids? How is losing your father, even when that father is quite famous, fascinating?

The only person who qualifies is GaGa because she has captured the attention and imagination of a lot of people.

So Wawa needs to retire to wherever washed up news people go and take Tom Brokaw, Bob Schieffer, everyone on Fox, MSNBC and CNN (except Tony Harris) with her. Time for new blood.

Also, Gaga has blown up this year with Rolling Stone, SNL, Carnegie Hall, marching in D.C to which the President introduced her, played for the Queen of Eng, and was a very popular Halloween costume. Your personal dislike for her does not mean she was not fascinating this year as a whole.

but i still disagree. being popular is much different than being interesting.

where's christine amanpour? anderson cooper? general patreus? the leader of the UN? tim geitner?
