Went to see this movie, it is very good, enjoyed it very much. Hopefully I'll go see it again this Friday. The actors were also amazing and the characters seem so genuine.

New gay movie - "Weekend"

Just read several things about this new gay-oriented movie "Weekend" that is getting great reviews. It looks to be slowly rolled out over October across the US in major cities. Of course no where near me. But I am looking forward to seeing it either at cinema or on DVD. Great reviews.

I just saw it today, and it was AMAZING. Easily, the best gay movie I've ever seen. I teared up quite a few times. Everyone can relate to this story, regardless of your orientation. You never plan on meeting the "one".

If you have digital cable, it's on ON-DEMAND for seven bucks. I wish I would have known about that before, since I had to spend ten bucks for my ticket. However, I'm glad to have paid more. The film was just so beautiful.

Regardless to what happens, it's better to have loved than to have never loved before.

Great movie. Go see it at the theater. It is important to support this kind of movie. Great acting. Both guys are cute in a everyday sort of way. In the Bay Area is playing in Berkeley and san francisco.

Would love to see the movie, it's not showing anywhere me. I searched for a "torrent" download, found a couple, but those didn't have any seeds to pull from, so they seem to be dead. Wondering if anyone has heard of any "new" torrent downloads of this movie?

I wish I had checked this thread earlier.

I ended up emailing someone from Weekend's web site to find out more about the song used in the trailer and to find out if there's a soundtrack.

No soundtrack, but yes... that is Antlers' song in the trailer. I bought the album and it's good! The opening track (which is in the trailer) is beautiful. I love it.

I'm obsessed with the film now. I can't wait to see it.

off topic for a sec...check out their other releases. 2009's Hospice is a favorite.
