Hi there!
I am... well, a shy guy... But this is not the worst problem. I am very slim. I am 175cm high and weigh approx. 55 kg. What is the "normal" weight for this height? Do you know how I can gain some weight?
Thanks!

funny that you put that when mine would be how do you lose weight!! eat less healthy and workout more weights!

o....k

175cm and 55kg puts your BMI at 17.96

an average healthy persons BMI should be between 20 and 25.

technically you ARE underweight for your height.

hhmmm without knowing your average daily excercise and food intake I cant make any suggestions at this point.

however, working out could help since muscle weighs more than fat. running, cycling, swimming...low impact excercises are good. Higher carb & protein in take, you can still eat healthy just make sure you have a good range of all the food groups (lean meat, wheat/gluten free wholemeal pasta, oily fish etc...)

I would suggest a visit to a nutritionist or doctor

I'd say see a doctor first to make sure there is no hormonal problem. Then, eating healthy and lifting weights (preferably with a trainer first so you don't hurt yourself) is the best way. But if it is a hormonal problem, you should get that fixed first.

Gym would be your best bet. Workout with weights is really wonderful; though you must make sure to change your eating routine as well or it won't make a difference - increase food intake and decrease your eating intervals (i.e. don't spend too much time without eating anything). A gym should point you a nice nutrionist to help you with that part.

Good luck, it worked for me (always been underweight until hitting the gym), should work for you - just be ready to think long term and don't give up as the results are a bit slow indeed. :)

okay eat eat eat eat eat lean beefs chicken oakmeal and water lots of water

hit the gym now when your in the gym you need to do 5 sets of 5 reps here ill jut give you this link as i posted in another thread this is a good routine to lose weight and almost gain weight
