  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Weird food combinations that you like (and others probably disgust)

This is a guilty pleasure and don't do it too often but I like dipping McDonalds french fries in chocolate milkshakes.

I also Coke and milk... I know ... its the quickest way to kidney stones but it's so good.

I Used to LOVE peanut butter and bananas on toast ... then I became allergic to bananas

Since I will eat anything it is kind of hard to come up with something that is disgusting, but how about my BF's pickle lilly in bean soup?

...and what is HP Sauce? -- all I can think of is Harry Potter or Hewlett-Packard

Chitlins with white rice, green onions, & Frank's Hot Sauce.

Onion Bagel with Strawberry Bummel & Brown Spread (Yum)

oh - i just thought of something really "different"

White Rice, sliced RAW onions, and canned salmon - with creamed corn as a sort of "gravy" -- sprinkle with soy sauce (shoyu - if you're Japanese) and enjoy !

^^^why are those weird? ^^^

Cause most everybody I know thinks it's disgusting, won't go near it, and calls me wierd. Especially the chitlins, I cook them outside cause it will have the house smelling like shit for a week. I dated this guy who was in the army years ago and he got me started on them. Now they were cooked by relatives when I was younger but never ate them because they smelt like ass and figured they would taste like it to so I never went there.

Dipping french fries in vanilla milkshake

tuna sandwiches with chips!!!

Poi used as a salad dressing.

But it's not something I'm likely to even have an opportunity to have again soon.

It more or less requires a trip to Hawai'i or elsewhere in the Pacific, because I recently learned that poi is exceptionally perishable.

this reads like a stoner recipe book!

my weirdest combo would be Franks Hot Sauce with Salt and Vinegar Kettle Crisps!!!

Not Vegan, but too bad Trans and StS:

Wheat Thins, spread with Cream Cheese and topped with an Anchovy Fillet

Original Triscuit, with sharp Cheddar Cheese (melted in Microwave) topped with some Chicken Liver sauteed in Butter and Garlic (yeah, I'll die of Cholesterol Clogs but at least I'll be happy)

Pickle Sandwich, White Bread slathered in Miracle Whip (only time I use the stuff) with Dill Pickle Slices. Add cooked crispy bacon for an exceptional treat.

pretzels and m&ms

thin crust pepperoni pizza topped with hot and sour cold noodles

I like to dip Taco Bell's bean burritos w/ no onions and extra sour cream in ranch dressing.

Not weird .. or is it? Despite that you drown everything in ranch dressing

Oh .. one weird thing:
In Germany we usually eat popcorn with sugar.

I don't even like popcorn with sugar or with salt.

BUT .. a friend of mine had the great idea of using butter and garlic salt on popcorn .. yummm :)

>>>BUT .. a friend of mine had the great idea of using butter and garlic salt on popcorn .. yummm

Wow, he should market that idea.

Wait, never mind. :)

I like mustard on my french fries.
Cottage cheese with canned pears or other fruits.
Steamed rice with spicy peanuts sprinkled on top.
Fresh (or formerly-frozen) peas with sunflower nuts and salt.

Nothing too weird. But as a child, I'd insist on maple syrup on my scrambled eggs.

>>>It's not a combination but I love hot Tang.

My friend in college drank this. Whenever he'd make it, my friend and I would start singing "Hot Tang", to Prince's "Hot Thing".
