Weirdest most confusing movie you've ever seen...

I flippin' love Donnie Darko. It has to be one of the best movies ever. I had to watch it like 3 times before I finally got it. The Director's cut is better then the original, easier to understand and the soundtrack is amazing.

It's about time travel and a paralle (sp) universe. Donnie does things without realizing it with help from others' who are also helping him without knowing. The scene with "It's a mad world" playing sums it all up. They kinda know what they did.

if you think donnie darko is confusing - watch lost highway .. or even more confusing: mulholland drive

vertigo, had to watch it a few times to figure it out

That's such a great movie!! I didn't think it was really confusing, but there were parts where I had to rewind back to get it. Good movie though!

Yeah, David Lynch movies are fucked up. "Lost Highway" confused the hell out of me...but I loved it...

Just about any of Peter Greenaway's movies ..... "The Cook, the Thief ....", "Prospero's Books", "The Baby of Macon", "The Pillow Book" etc etc. "The Pillow Book" is really worth watching though, if only to drool over Ewan Mcgregor in all his full frontal glory ... yummy body and very well endowed!! *|*

Pretty much anything directed by Jess Franco. He's the most loved or hated director I know of. "Succubus" probably confused me more than anything....but in a strange way I can't help rewatching it.

Mulholland Drive. I am so glad people are also saying this. I had no clue as to what was happening. A good friend recommended it, and I haven't forgiven him since.

As for Greenaway, I haven't found any of his films confusing. All were very easy to understand.

Memento never confused me, and it's one of my faves, but really loses others. go figure.

Mulholland Drive and Donnie Darko. Love both movies but they are really confusing.

I also had a difficult time with "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."

The legendary anime video Akira is a bit confusing. I get most of it but some parts still elude my comprehension.

I don't know if I'd class it as confusing but I hated Ghost World. It just seemed really pointless.

Robert Altman's -- 3 Women,Don't really know what that movie meant,i liked it though.
Mulholland Drive would be one of my top choices also.

"Swimming Pool" by Francois Ozon was also very confusing. And "Pi" by Darren Aronofsky.
