OMG my best friend said something similar. Why are some straight guys attracted to gay clubs?
I think straight guys like to go for a confidence boost...this particular best friend was a girl, but her bf was just as enthusiastic about heading to the gay bar. He just loves the idea of guys and gals thinking he's hot (and I assure you, he is!).

I was not able to stop laughing for a while.
"So, what's so funny? Like you were not trying to hook up with a chick using 'I'm gay but would really love to try IT with you.' line?"
By that time, I was getting tears in my eyes and was loosing every hope that I would ever stop laughing. I was getting some serious abdominal pain. His facial expression was priceless.
"Geee, stop it now. OK, so what's the big deal? I also once hooked up with the dude at the clubbing, ya know. I mean, not a biggie, so, he sucked me off. Does that make me gay? You crazy, or somethin?"
I was about to loose it there and then and piss all over myself for the first time in my adult life. Somehow, I managed to shoot back:

"Well, kinda, I did. It was not that gross or anything. It was kinda fair. Ya know, he did me and I did him..."
So, we quickly agreed that none of us was gay.
Why ruin his day? I mean, having sex with other guys does not make you gay, does it?

I have a podcast on gay issues and this is a topic that is often discussed on the show the coming out process and one of my favorites is when I interviewed Aaron whose family owns a cattle ranch in Montana. When he was 19 he decided to come out to his family and it included his grandfather and this is what happened

I think this is my favourite one so far. Simple, and yet, completely idiotic.
A little while ago I told some friends while I was staying overnight at their place. The girl said, "Really? Cool." and the guy said, "Wait, what are you talking about?" He was watching a poker tournament and was more interested in that than what I was saying. Then after his girlfriend told him what we were talking about he just said, "oh" and went back to his poker.

When i told my cousin,( one of the first people to find out ) he was like " And so , whats the fucken big deal about ?" , i was so paranoid about telling more then 1 person at a time, i told everyone seperately!! lol
My bro - We where both drunk walking home from a club at 3 in the morning, and i told him , and he was really cool and just said " Hay sex is sex , as long as your happy !!"
My Mum, who is didn;t actually come out too, i think they just kinda found out through the grape vine in the family, i just could not bring myself to say it to them!! how stupid is that!! lol...
She said , " So does that mean I am having no more grand children " , and then , " just be careful , Chris ( my b/f ) has been gay alot longer then you " lol... and the classic, " Does this mean your never dating women again ?? "
Generally every one has been cool!! thank god!! lol
