Weirdest thing someone said to you when you told them you were gay.

I usually have a problem with that question too. I knew I was gay when I wanted to jump a guy in one of my classes. Telling friends that is okay but, my family and I don't have the most open relationship and telling them that wouldn't go over to well. Usually I just lie and say, I just know.

Oh yes. People don't seem to understand that (for me anyway) there was never a point in time. After you explain this to them, they go to ask "ok, so when did you realise/accept it then". Arrrg, can't you understand that I've always been gay!

My mom said the same thing. hehe, I love her, but I should have known better than to screw up dinner with a big announcement.

My grandmother still doesn't believe that I'm gay and always asks if I have girlfriend yet. I brought my boyfriend to Christmas this year and she kept calling him my roommate.

Don't know if this counts as coming out or not, but recently I had a passenger ask me if I was gay. I told him yes. Then he says, "Is that why you became a flight attendant?" Yes, it was my destiny! My god, some people are dense.
