The local council in Matlock, Derbyshire has removed a pride flag at the request of a Christian bookshop. The bookshop claimed that it was a "matter of conscience and in keeping with our faith and scriptures". What a bunch of shits.

There is definitely nothing in the bible about rainbow flags but there is plenty about not monetising your faith. A shop selling christian themed tat sounds in breach of that advice. People who live in glass houses.

So last evening, we went into the big smoke to see Jeremy Dutcher with the TSO at Thompson Hall nd then a party on the lower terrace of the Hall to celebrate the kick-off to Pride Week in Toronto.
Fun but exhausting. Was desperate to get home to the farm and to bed.
This is about the only major event we will get to. But it was grand and we had incredible seats.

I hardly see the common rainbow flag at Prides (and anywhere else) anymore. The mixed rainbow + trans flag has become way more popular. What do you guys think about it?
