Welcome!
We are so glad you have found us. Tens of Thousands of folks just like you have registered to participate in these message boards. We are a vibrant community of individuals. You can be as invisible as you want (a lurker) or you can jump right in and everyone will soon know your name. We really have all types here and no matter what color your skin is, what religion you are, what fetish you get into... there are many more here that will share it with you.
We love to make friends and we love to talk about everything you can imagine. Many times the topics are just fun and nonsensical. Others are heart-touching and compassionate. We even have good spirited and lively debate that sometimes gets a few folks hot under the collars. It's all good here as long as you can follow a few simple guidelines.
Code of Conduct/Terms of Service:
We have a Code of Conduct (COC) for both members and moderators. The main thing to know is that everyone has an opinion on everything. Every opinion is worth hearing and should be considered. However, under no circumstance is it ever ok to attack someone by cursing them, engaging in hate speech, or trying to rile them up for no purpose other than to inflame.
Forum Posting Guidelines:
Just Us Boys Community is setup with individual forums. Some forums are "Safe for Work" (SFW) and others are designated as "Not Safe For Work" (NSFW). At the top of each forum are Sticky Threads where you will find information about the forum, including the Posting Guidelines for that forum.
Introduce Yourself:
Take a look at the forum you are in now. This is the Make Friends - Introductions and Connections forum. Its a great place to get to know the other new guys on the board and get your feet wet with how things work. If you have questions, ask them and our helpful moderators and long-time members will be happy to help you out.
But, hey lets start at the beginning by letting you introduce yourself. At the upper right hand top of the forum, you will see a button Post Thread. Click that button and you will be ready to make your first post.
Your first post doesn't have to be fancy. Just a "Hey, I'm new here and wanted to say Hey". If you want you can tell us something about yourself, maybe talk about your hobbies or where you are from.
You shouldn't give out your real name, your email address, phone numbers, or other really personal information. Eventually you will make friends that you may want to share information with (heck we even have people that have fallen in love here), but for now just tell us what you feel comfortable with.
The forum has anti-spam software that may flag your first few posts for a moderator to approve. After you've posted a few times, the same software will upgrade your account which opens additional features to you.
After you make your first post, start looking through the other threads. You will see some started by other "newbies" and you will also find some helpful posts so that you can start learning your way around. If you have a question, start a new topic just like you did when you introduced yourself. If you ask a question, you will be sure to get an answer quickly. This is a very busy board and there are always people around waiting to help you out!
Oh, one last thing. You might want to print this page out just so you have a handy reminder of how to get started. Once you start clicking on things you may not remember how to get back here if you need something.
Lost/Need Help?
There's a "Frequently Asked Questions" page that has some helpful information. If you are totally lost... there's a forum called "Ask the Moderators" where you can ask questions or you can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of each forum page.
