Seems as though hope and being positive push your buttons some. I for one, do not seek an 'ideal' state. I am an incrementalist that believes in making things better, not perfect. So, if my posts annoy you then I am on the right path.
No: having no hope and no positiveness would put an end to one's life... what gets on my nerves is delusion and cluelessness being made pass for "hope and positiveness", because it's precisely that confusion what maintains all the wrongs in the world. You are the sort of people who are as bad as the rotten bad, with your good-for-nothing goodie-two-shoes attitude that gets in the way of REALLY doing things to change things. You are the sort of people used by the cynical, the leaders, to maintain things as they are, by offering an Ersatz of righteousness and good.
So even if my reality check annoys you, it is very much to be doubted that I am on the right path: delusion can only be awoken to despair: because most people, like you, are unable to change anything so that, instead of falling into despair, they keep maintaining their false world of hopes and "right paths"
