well, the plasma center. I did a lil wake and bake and totally forgot why I started this thread, like, the minute I hit "post thread" so I'm just going to detail my Saturday. Plasma donation (tax free money for a good cause woot woot :gogirl: ) and then work.

whats your plans for this Saturday?

PS: Leaving the house at 7am to beat the 4,000 degree heat that starts at 9 o'clock. ](*,)

(y):gogirl:plasma donation!

I'll be heading to a town meeting about a major road closure. For at least 90 days, starting next week, my street will get a huge amount of the detoured traffic. I haven't seen any signs about it, just a note buried in a Facebook post.

Making Tomato sauce with the harvest....and now off to mow the west and south lawns.

There's a major road closure near me, closing Burmont Road, the main way onto my street.
To top things, we have trolley service on a dedicated right-of-way - but not weekends in September due to maintenance. Shuttle buses run instead.
B UT due to the road closure the shuttle buses cannot use Burmont Road. They must detour, making the nearest stop several blocks from the usual.

I know, I have nerve complaining. At least I can leave my home. Horrible memories of April 2020 with no service at all give some comfort. But it's a nuisance!

I'm going to a Music is Art festival today. :band: There'll be big crowds there, that I'm not looking forward to, but hopefully there'll be some good eye candy  , (and music) that'll make it worthwhile!

My Saturday? Meeting my buddy from Brooklyn and a friend from Australia who's in NYC. We went to hear a concert of some Bach Brandenburg Concertos, then to a Sichuan restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Shoot. You didn't link me in.

I love corn chips.
You have an open invitation. I do the same thing on Saturdays, so it's all weekend. And sometimes Monday but usually Tuesday through Friday as well.
